School Age Family Church - Matthew 28:16-20

Family Activity: Our God wants the whole world to Know Him. Option 1- Play dominos. Blu Tak a photo of someone in your family to one domino. Attach a picture of someone you do not know to one other domino. Use all your upright dominos to make one circle/world. Place your photo domino at the front and the person you don’t know at the end. Push down your photo domino and watch the whole circle/world fall down with the person you don’t know falling last. This is what can happen when we tell one person about God. They tell someone else and they tell someone else until people over the whole world hear about the Good News of Jesus. Option 2- Cut 7 small pieces of paper – one for each day of the week. On each piece paper, write one persons name who you know isn’t a Christian. Fold the paper in half and place it in the cup. Each night at dinner time pull one name out of the cup and pray for that person.

Family Talk Discuss the following. 1. What do you like about this bible passage?

2. We can pray for people who do not know about or love God. How else can we share with others about Gods love for them? (e.g: Can your family ask someone to watch Church on-line this Sunday? Can you invite a friend to Kids Club or Scripture when it’s back on? What stories from your life can you share to help others see the power and importance of God in your life?)

Family Prayer Dear God, Thank you that you are always with us. Help us to be strong and courageous as we obey you and tell others about your love for them. Today we pray for _________ (insert the name of someone you are praying for). Help them to know you love and care for them. Amen.

Make an easy paper plane.

Colour in the world pictures and the planes wings with the bible verse and the wing with the ‘GO’ sign.

1. Make the body of the plane- Fold this paper in half down the long middle line so these words are folded inside.

2. Make the nose tip of the plane- Fold on the diagonal line down on one side so you can see the world picture.

3. Flip over the paper and fold on the other diagonal line down so you can see the world picture.

4. Make the wings- Fold on the last 2 long lines so you can see the bible verse on one side and the ‘GO’ circle on the other side.
