Thursday 7 th December Bizarre Bazaar (Ventus House) KEEPING OUR CHILDREN SAFE Due to the congestion and continued risk to our students in the main car park please can we remind you of the Park and Stride safe drop-off zones. We would encourage you to use them as an alternative to using the main car park and driving up Arthur’s Avenue at these very busy times. Your co-operation is very much appreciated. (Mr Mungovin, Facilities Manager) JUST B DROP IN SERVICE FOR YEAR 11 STUDENTS To support Year 11 students in the final year of GCSEs we will be offering a drop in service for any student who wants advice and guidance on managing exam pressure. This will be in S23 every Tuesday from 1pm with effect from 31 st October 2017. (Mr Milburn) JUST B COUNSELLING SERVICE (SIXTH FORM) Just B are also offering a counselling service to our Sixth Form students, meetings can be arranged via Mrs Jackson or Mrs Vincent. (Mrs Vincent) YEAR 11 MOCK EXAMINATIONS The Y11 mock exams begin on Monday 4 th December. The overview timetable for this period is available for you to see here: Internal Examinations December 2017 The timetable explains clearly when the exams are and also when normal lessons will continue. On some occasions, when there is a large exam on, those students not doing an exam will be in a revision sessions instead of normal lessons. Students should check carefully to ensure they bring the correct equipment, including revision materials. From Thursday 14 th December, normal lessons will resume for the majority of students and just those who have exams will come out for them. Students have received their personal copies of timetables, which include rooming. Good luck to all our Year 11 students. We will be serving Christmas Lunch to students in The Hub next week on Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th December. In G2 the Christmas Lunch will be served on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th December. £2.65 for a hot main, £3.10 for hot main and pudding. Christmas lunch is included for students eligible for Free School Meals. (The Catering Team)

SENIOR CITIZENS FESTIVE COFFEE MORNING We would like to invite local senior citizens to our Festive Coffee Morning on Tuesday 19th December 10:30am to 12:30pm. The Final Week!

We wanted to give you exclusive access to the rehearsal room in preparation for this year’s musical

We Will Rock You!

This week has been about technical rehearsals and building our confidence with the band. What a

difference it makes having them there! Our favourite moment was when the entire cast got up, sang

Bohemian Rhapsody and rocked out on stage. We are really excited/ apprehensive about next week,

but we know that all the hard work will be worth. We look forward to seeing you all there.
