WIND THINGS SCIENCE WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY 7 APRIL, 2-3PM NARELLAN LIBRARY, IN THE REDGUM ROOM COST: $8 PER CHILD AGES: 6-12 YEARS Children aged between six and 12 years are invited to explore the science of flight, investigating the roles of lift, drag, thrust and gravity to explain how things fly. They will make a model wing, a whirligig and a paper plane and understand why they can fly! WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP THURSDAY 8 APRIL, 3-4.30PM ORAN PARK LIBRARY, IN THE LAKESIDE ROOM COST: $10 PER CHILD AGES: 7-12 YEARS Children aged between seven and 12 years will learn how to master the materials and techniques of watercolour painting. MEET THE MONSTERS PUPPETRY WORKSHOP FRIDAY 9 APRIL, 10.30AM-NOON CAMDEN LIBRARY, IN THE MULTIPURPOSE ROOM COST: $10 PER CHILD AGES: 6-12 YEARS Children aged between six and 12 years will go on an adventure through the magical world of puppetry! In this high energy, creative workshop, children will build their very own monster puppets. ALL HANDS-ON DRUMS WITH TOM HARDING TUESDAY 13 APRIL, 10-11AM NARELLAN LIBRARY, IN THE REDGUM ROOM COST: $8 PER CHILD AGES: 5-12 YEARS Children aged between five and 12 years need no previous musical knowledge to enjoy this session. In no time at all, Tom will have kids sounding great as they beat out fantastic rhythms. Children will learn to cooperate and drum as a team to make awesome music together. ALL HANDS-ON UKULELES WITH TOM HARDING

THURSDAY 15 APRIL, 10-11AM

ORAN PARK LIBRARY, IN THE LAKESIDE ROOM

COST: $8 PER CHILD AGES: 5-12 YEARSChildren aged between five and 12 years need no previous musical knowledge to enjoy this session. Along with the hands-on experience on their own uke, kids will learn some ukulele facts and that many styles of music including disco, funk, pop and jazz sound great on a ukulele!

SLINKY BUSINESS WITH DENNIS CLAREFRIDAY 16 APRIL, 10.30-11.30AM

CAMDEN LIBRARY, IN THE MULTIPURPOSE ROOM

COST: $8 PER CHILD AGES: 5-12 YEARSChildren aged between five and 12 years are invited to take park in this very interactive, two-part workshop. It starts with mime; how to moonwalk, use invisible walls and walk an invisible dog! This leads into the introduction of the giant slinky, children will learn how to create wonderful shapes and characters by using the slinky and exploring their imaginations.

PLEASE NOTE• Age restrictions apply for all activities, so do not book

your child in for an activity if they do not meet the age restriction;

• We are unable to accommodate vacation care groups; and

• Tickets are not refundable.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURESIn order to keep everyone safe during these activities, the following will be required:• Children must be checked in using the Service NSW web

app before entry;

• Hand sanitiser will be available and must be used before entry;

• The 1.5-metre distance between children will be strictly maintained;

• Parents and siblings will not be allowed to enter the program room;

• High touch surfaces will be regularly sanitised; and

• Children will not share resources.
