HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK ARIZONA SPENDS PER PUPIL?
Conclusion• In conclusion there is a reason why Arizona is one of the lowest in test scores in
the nation
• I personally think if you look at how much we are funding our schools compared to the other states, that can be a huge reason why we are one of the lowest
• Arizona is in the bottom four with only about $7,666 per pupil
• Many people do not understand about school funding and that can be a reason it is so low and nobody cares about it.
• It is a never ending battle between money and test scores
• They won’t give a school more money if they are doing poorly in their test scores, but money will help the test scores
Recommendations
• Get aware of / understand the problem
• Spend the money more efficiently
• Arizona needs to pay up• The bill will help!
• Students need to work harder
• Educators need to be better
