Why Our School

Founded in 1949, Village Christian School’s motto, “College-bound from

kindergarten, Christ-centered for life,” is the focus for a passionate faculty and staff

that prepares our K-12 students for life in an ever-changing world. Our

college-preparatory curriculum begins in the lower grades with a strong emphasis

in language arts and sciences, culminating with our signature high school

“Concentrations” program, which is based on the Harvard University model.

Last year, 97 percent of our seniors were accepted to 120 colleges nationwide, including Boston College, Cal, Dartmouth, Emory, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, NYU, Pepperdine, UCLA, and USC.
