Foundation in Arts
The Foundation in Arts is an exclusive pre-university programme at Sunway University College. It is an idealprogramme to prepare post-secondary school students to go directly into Sunways own undergraduate
programmes which are validated by Lancaster University, UK.
This oundation programme emphasises the development o well-rounded students in both numerical and
communication skills through structured subjects in Mathematics and English throughout every semester.
In order to have a good basic grasp o the academic rigour o undergraduate lie, a range o electives is available
rom business subjects to computing, rom nance to psychology. Enrichment electives such as Culture and
Ideas, Culture and Perormance, and Critical Thinking Skills, are avenues or students to explore ideas beyond their
academic courses and develop into independent thinkers.
AcademicAdvisoEach student is assigned an Advisor who will provide academic guidance
and monitor the students progress. A progress report will be sent every
semester to the parents/guardian to ensure that they are up-to-date with
the students development in the programme.
