An annual computing conference aimed at industry practitioners and academics, focussing on a single theme. By popular demand the theme for 2018 will be cybersecurity. The conference is an excellent networking and knowledge-sharing opportunity.

Our animation exhibitors from ExpoTees 2018 go on tour to exhibit at one of London’s prestigious studios (previously Double Negative, MPC, The Mill). Attended by recruiters in animation industries and by invite only. The exhibition is followed by a tour of the London animation studios.

Animex International Festival of Animation and Games – the largest festival of its kind in the UK, a unique blend of talks, workshops, networking events, exhibitions and screenings across a whole week in May.

AnimexperienceA series of stop motion animation workshops for over 100 primary school children culminating in a red carpet awards ceremony and screening of the completed films, for the children and their parents, plus special guests.

Animex AwardsThe film festival arm of Animex. In 2017, over 2,000 submissions were made to Animex Awards from more than 80 countries, 136 student and professional films short-listed and screened in competition, 76 short films, 3 feature animations and one documentary film screened in 5 curated programmes.

A unique, one-day exhibition which showcases the next generation of digital talent from over 150 second year students. It’s also an excellent opportunity for companies to recruit students for a year-long placement or shorter work experiences, and it puts your organisation in front of students as a potential employer. Businesses are invited to deliver industry-targeted talks and Q&A sessions.

ExpoTential is our showcase event for first year students of animation, games, computing, media, journalism, film, fine art and performing arts, and an opportunity to practice their professional and communication skills while presenting their project. It is a pre-ExpoTalent showcase.

ExpoTees London is our southern chapter of ExpoTees. Our animation students exhibit their work in London in the premises of one of the industry studios (previously Double Negative, MPC and The Mill) to animation professionals from a large number of studios seeking to recruit high calibre graduates.

The annual conference appeals to businesses, industry practitioners and academics looking for an industry insight into a topical IT issue. It’s also an opportunity to find out how to collaborate with Teesside University, to access staff expertise and knowledge, and identify talented students and graduates.

ExpoTees is an annual exhibition of outstanding computing innovation, technology and design — and an opportunity to recruit bright, new talent to your organisation.
