It will cover the Arabic alphabet and writing system, and begin the study of Arabic grammar. A selection of non-literary modern Arabic texts will be read in class as the basis of language teaching, classroom drills, tests and written assignments and oral class work. Anti-requisite(s) Must not be a native speaker of arabic, fluent in modern standard arabic, or have a pass at higher, a level or equivalent.
