PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
WEEK 1UNIFORM WINNER
This week’s winner isToby
Welcome back to Term 2. I hope all students had an enjoyable holiday and are refreshed and ready to learn in Term 2.
This term we will continue to work on our 4R's of learning and each week we will have a focus in the school for students and staff to work on.
This week it will be "Being resilient in the playground". This will involve not letting other students get us down by what they say or do but being resilient and going and playing with other friends or starting a new game.
If there is a problem we will tell a teacher and not try to sort it out physically, but come to a solution that works for both students so that we are all happy. I hope you enjoyed the holidays and know that
Sarah Price and I are always happy to see parents if there is an issue with your child at school.
David Lewis
Principal
We will work on that skill at school and if parents can do this at home as well then children will develop.
This may look like "treating their brother or sister nicely" or speaking to each other politely at home and in the car on the way home.
You can also ASK how their day was in the playground and if there was issues then discuss how they could have solved these issues so that everyone was happy.

Competition.
3J REDMiss Jones will
be away all this week and Mrs Yeo will be teaching
the class in her absence.
This is not an easy skill to develop and in most cases children have to be taught how to be resilient.

Impetigo (im-pet-eye-go) is an infection of the skin caused by bacteria. It is often called school sores because it is common among school children. Impetigo causes sores on the skin, which are usually itchy. The sores may start out as blisters that burst and become weepy, before being covered with a crust. School sores are contagious and children should be kept at home until treated by a doctor.
