To obtain an AICE Diploma, students will be required to: 1. Earn at least one credit in each of the three curriculum groups (1-3). 2. Take and pass Global Perspectives and Research. 3. Earn at least three additional credits from any group (1-4).

TYPES OF DIPLOMAS/CREDITS EARNED

Cambridge offers 3 types of diploma based on the overall Cambridge AICE Diploma score/points earned.

1. Distinction: awarded to students with a score of 360 points or above. The maximum Diploma score is 420 points.

2. Merit: awarded to students with between 250 and 359 points. 3. Pass: awarded to students with between 140 and 249 points.

*If a student fails to earn the diploma, they will still be awarded certificates for the individual subjects they have passed. *Passing an exam may lead to college-credit by examination, determined by the university acceptance.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Because AP courses cover content found in introductory college-level classes, AP scores can earn students college credit and/or placement in higher level classes. The Executive Internship is the culminating course for the ACE Academy. • Complete 3 credits within a single pathway (excluding Digital Information Technology)

• Pass Industry Certification exam for each course, equaling 5 or more college credits

• Industry Certification articulates to college AAS or AA degree Florida Gold Seal Vocational (GSV): Scholarship can be used to fund a career education or certificate program at a Technical or State College.

• Complete 3 credit within a single pathway (excluding Digital Information Technology)

• Achieve 3.0 weighted core GPA & 3.5 unweighted GPA in the pathway courses • Minimum college ACT, SAT or PERT scores
