How do we at the public library find out about assignments?
Communication with school librarian Topic, length, how many sources, copy of assignment,
further clarification
Planning with specific teachers for recurring assignments (3 times a year)
Follow up with teacher when child shares assignment

We have shared authors, splitting travel, lodging, meals, and author fees Authors we have had at Meridian: Gordon Korman, Dan Guttman, Kalli Dakos, Vernon Area Public Library has also partnered with local Elementary Schools and High School.
Managing loans from the Vernon Area Public Library
We have recently switched to Destiny. I now create a temporary record in Destiny that is then deleted when we check it back in. It is great because everything is now in one spot.
