DIIVISION PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR THE PARTICIPATION TO REGIONAL MUSABAQAH AND OTHER MADRASAH EDUCATION PROGRAM (MEP) ACTIVITIES

To: Concerned Public Schools District Supervisors School Heads of ALIVE Implementing Schools ALIVE Regular Teachers Contract of Service (COS) Asatidz

1. In reference to Unnumbered Regional Memorandum dated October 30, 2018, re: Regional Musabaqah 2018, the field is hereby informed of the Division Planning Conference for the Participation to Regional Festival of Talents - Musabaqah Skills Competition 2018 and other Madrasah Education Program Activities on November 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Division Conference Hall.

2. The conference is aimed at discussing the following: a. Events to be contested; b. Policy Guidelines on the conduct of Regional Musabaqah; c. Qualifying Examination for Arabic Language and Islamic Values (QEALIS); and d. other activities concerning the implementation of MEP

3. Participants in this conference are all ALIVE Regular Teachers, Contract of Service (COS) Asatidz and Mrs. Zoraina Aguilar, School ALIVE Coordinator of Pedro Garcia Elem. School.

4. AsatidzlTeachers are expected to make necessary arrangement such that classes are taken care of during their absence.

5. Travel expenses of the participants are chargeable against school local funds subject to the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SUBJECT: REGIONAL MUSABAQAH 2018

1 Pursuant to Department Order 58 s. 2016, regarding the conduct of any advocacy activities to strengthened Muslim culture and Arabic language, this Office announces the 8th Regional Musabaqah on November 29-30, 2018 in Tagum City (specific venue will be announced later).

2. Participants in this activity are the Regional/Division Education Program Supervisors (EPS), Regional ALIVE coordinator (RAC), Division ALIVE coordinators (DACs), Division Musabaqah winners and coaches, District Supervisors, Principals of the Muslim Education Program Implementers and members of the Technical Working Committee (see attached enclosure).

3. Further, there will be a pre-planning conference on November 12, 2018 at the Waling-Waling conference room, DepEd-Regional Office XI, F. Torres St., Davao City.

4. Meals shall be charged against PSF 2018 downloaded funds to the region while travel and other allowable expenses relative to the conduct of the activity shall be charged against PSF 201 8/division/local and other sources of funds, all subject to the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
