To kick off the school’s opening week, students and staff gathered outside and blew bubbles to celebrate the successful opening of another school year. “Bubble Day” is a New Egypt Primary School tradition that dates back to 2004, the year the New Egypt Primary School first opened its doors. Joining the school for the celebration was Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Gerald North and Director of Literacy, Mrs. Michelle Krain. “The assembly is all about tradition and starting the school year off on a positive and fun note for our students,” said Richard DeMarco, Principal of New Egypt Primary School. “It is important to get together as an entire school community and do something fun and interactive right off the bat. Bubbly Day just ends the first week of school on such a positive note.” New Egypt Primary School serves students from preschool through first grade, and is located in Plumsted Township, New Jersey.
