Dear colleagues and friends“Shubho Bijoya” and greetings for the festive season!!It is our proud privilege to invite you to the much-awaited annual conference of

our beloved Society – “BOGSCON 40” on January 10 -11, 2015 at Hotel Novotel, CF 11 Action Area 1C, New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata -700156.

Like last year, this year also two separate pre congress workshops on “Operative Obstetrics” and “Imaging in Gynaecology” have been arranged at the Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata on 9th January, 2015. We hope that this will cater to a variety of requirements in clinical practice and add value to the conference.

As always, in addition to the large number of members of the BOGS who regularly attend BOGSCON, we also expect a handsome number of obstetricians and gynaecologists from all over Bengal and different parts of India and abroad to join us and share their valuable experience, knowledge and recent advances in the field of OBGYN during the conference. “BOGSCON 40” will also provide a unique platform for our budding postgraduates to interact and actively participate in the various scientific sessions.

Apart from academia, entertaining cultural programs have been planned and coupled with the cool weather of January, sumptuous cuisine and the beautiful view of the skyline of Newtown from Hotel Novotel, we hope the conference will truly be a memorable experience.

A tentative program is enclosed and soon enough we shall communicate the final program to you through our website and the final announcement brochure.

author will appear in the final programme.• Please submit your abstract in MS word, within 250 words, and send it as an email attachment to

bogs1936@gmail.com.• The abstract should be structured into Title, Aims & Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results,

Discussion and Conclusion. Title must be in Capital letters and the Name & Institutions of the author and Co-authors should be typed below the title. Name of the presenting author should be underlined.
