Kaseya Smart Pilot Charter

Identify the Scope of the Pilot

Preparation

To be demonstrated on 5 to 10% of Total Number of endpoints

Will be conducted in a hosted environment customized for the

customer and to address the business needs of the customer.

PRIME SERVICES – Software Deployment

Scopea) Demonstrated on a minimum of 5 Endpoints

b) Low Complexity Installations - Part of Smart Pilot.

Eg. Adobe Reader 9.0 and VLC Player

Preparation:

1) Ensure that Adobe Reader 9.0 and VLC Player Procedures have been loaded into the Pilot Kaseya Server.

2) Refer to the Pictorial Step by Step guide

Showcase:

1) Select the endpoints on which Adobe Reader needs to be deployed. Execute & Schedule….

2) Once successful, ensure that we remote into a few machines and show the installed Applications

Deliverables:

1) Generate Kaseya Report to show the success of the Installations

2) We show case a Mock Report – Type of Report they will be able to generate during PHASE 1 of Kaseya

Implementation

Any Additional Special Activity Planned:1) Requests Specifically made for installing Software of Medium Complexity can be showcased on the last

day – Reserved for tailor made needs

PRIME SERVICES – Hard Disk Optimization

Scope

a) Demonstrated on a minimum of 5 Endpoints

b) Cleaning Temp Files

c) Analyze Hard Disk to find out whether Defragmentation is required or not and Defrag if required

Preparation:

1) During the Pilot at the End Customers Environment we ensure that the following two Procedures have been

imported into the VSA

a) Analyze and Defragment Hard-Disk

b) Automated Disk Cleanup

2) Refer to the Pictorial Step by Step guide

Showcase:

1) Select the endpoints on which the Disk Cleanup need to be executed

2) Once successful, ensure that we remote into a few machines and show the Status.

3) Refer to the Pictorial Guide for further Details

Deliverables:

1) Generate Kaseya Report to show the success of Disk Cleanup Activity

2) Also showcase to the customer a Mock Report - Type of Report they will be able to generate during PHASE

1 of Kaseya Implementation

PRIME SERVICES – Inventory Management

Scopea) Demonstrated on all endpoints on which agents have been installed

b) Visibility into Inventory be it hardware or software on a managed machine

Preparation:

1) Ensure that all the agents have their Baseline Audit completed before the report is pulled out.

Showcase:

1. Navigate to Info Center >Reports> Inventory Management (Reports)

2. Refer to the Guide for detailed step by step instructions on configuring the reports

Deliverables:1) Generate Kaseya Reports that are available under the Inventory Management to show the

Power of Kaseya Inventory Management

2) Also show case to the customer a Mock Report – Type of Report they will be able to generate

during PHASE 1 of Kaseya Implementation

PRIME SERVICES – End Point Security Management

Scopea) Demonstrated on all endpoints on at least 5 Endpoints

b) Security Policies are applied and automatically reinforced across all endpoints

Preparation:

1) Ensure that the following have been uploaded into the Pilot Server

a) Disable Registry edit

b) Disable USB Mass storage Devices

Showcase:

1. Navigate to Agent Procedures >Schedule/Create > Security Management and select the

procedures mentioned a) Disable Regedit

b) Disable USB Mass Storage Devices

2. Select Each Procedure, then select the endpoints and run them on the selected Machines

Deliverables:

Generate Kaseya Reports that are available under the Security Management Reports

STANDARD OPERATING SERVICES

SOE Management

Scopea) Demonstrated on all endpoints on at least 5 Endpoints

b) OS Hardening across all endpoints to be showcased in Pilot

Preparation:1) Ensure that the following have been uploaded into the Pilot Server

a) Deploy OS Hardening Policy

b) Disable a Service

c) Obtain Service Status List’

d) Check SOE Status

Showcase:1. Navigate to Agent Procedures >Deploy and Manage SOE

2. Select Each Procedure, then select the endpoints and run them on the selected Machines Deliverables

Deliverables:1) Create Reports for each activity shown in the preparation.

Go to Info Center> Reports> New Report> Logs> Agent Procedure Log > Report Parameters and enter the

Procedure Name in the Agent Procedure Name Filter Filed
