spectacular areas of wilderness in the world.
“Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world have tried and failed to gettheir hands on the treasure chest.
“I’ve had three attempts this year already. Next month I’m going back for one lastthrow of the dice.
“I reckon I’ve finally cracked it but won’t know until I get there.” Vietnam veteranFenn hid a 900-year-old treasure chest – stuffed with 236 gold coins, nuggets, emeralds, rubies and diamonds – weighing 40lbs.
Earlier this year, he revealed more clues that drove thousands of treasure hunters tothe Rockies, which cross Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico.
Andy has published his theory on where the fortune is hidden in an ebook.
He added: “He set a complex puzzle but I reckon there’s references to NativeAmerican chiefs, John Wayne, Cary Grant and Marvel comics.
