WHERE OUR 2013-14 GRADUATES WORK

Last year’s Mines graduates are working for more than 140 employers in 35 states, Canada and Mexico. The states with the highest number of accepted job offers are: South Dakota, North Dakota, Texas, Iowa, Minnesota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Michigan, and Illinois.

AVERAGE SALARY OFFERStarting salary offers averaged $63,358 for 2013-14 SD Mines graduates. (BS degrees)

INTERNSHIP/CO-OP EXPERIENCE78% of last year’s Mines graduates had relevant work experience through internships, co-ops, or undergraduate research, which increased their marketability to employers.
