Welcome to Germany’s major economic summit!
Strong together! This is the motto of this year’s SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel. In a world that is increasingly falling apart, cohesion is now more important than ever before.
Together, we must master the challenges of digitisation and the upheavals in world trade. Managers and employees, business and politics must work together to cope with technological and social change. We will be discussing these topics – and many more – at the 13th SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel.
The SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel is the most important economic congress of the country. In the very heart of the city, at the Adlon Hotel, the CEOs of DAX-listed companies and the leaders of European corporations debate fundamental subjects that move the economy with owners and managing directors of successful medium-size companies and start-ups.
This year, too, we expect more than 70 top-notch speakers from politics, the economy, the sciences and culture. Instead of long-winded speeches, the SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel offers a variety of discussions, cross-examinations and disputes, facilitated by senior editors of Süddeutsche Zeitung.
This year, once again, we have made some exciting changes to our programme! On the following pages, you can learn more about the unique character of the SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel.

In order to improve, the economy is constantly evolving, as is the SZ-Wirtschaftsgipfel. The most important new development this year: For the first time, each of the three economic summit days has its own key focus. Our Digital Day will be held on Monday, our Change Day on Tuesday and our Future Day on Wednesday. In addition, we have taken our welcome evening on Sunday, where we launch into our congress in a relaxed atmosphere, to a next level: For the first time, we are inviting all participants to join us at our great night of start-ups at the Kalkscheune in Berlin-Mitte.

In our evening discussion rounds we engage in conversa-tion with top people from the sciences, culture, society and sports, in recent years, for example with the pho-tojournalist Julia Leeb, entertainer Ina Müller, Michelin-starred chef Cornelia Poletto, double Olympic champion Britta Steffen or football coach Thomas Tuchel. They all recount how they made it to the top.

Participation: The participation fee is € 3,395.- plus VAT. This includes a conference portfolio, refreshments, lunch and participation in the Start-up Night and the two evening events – Talk Evening and Night of the European Economy.
