QUALITY CONTROLDEWALT is a long-standing member of PRUF GEMEINSCHAFT MAUERBOHRER (PGM), an internationally recognised organisation that verifies the suitability of drill bits for use in anchor fixing. To test drill bit life and durability 1 million holes are drilled into 350 tons of concrete each year, this will ensure that if there is any variability in quality it is detected before the products are delivered to the end user. All drill bits are certified to the latest ISO 9001:2000 quality standards as well as being tested using highly scientific machines to ensure their excellent quality.

1. The hammer action of the tool breaks the surface of the masonry/concrete at the drill bit tip. The debris then needs to be quickly moved out of the hole for the impact action to perform efficiently.
2. The rotation action moves the debris away from the impact face and out of the hole via the flutes. It is the optimium design of these flutes that allows the debris to be removed out of the hole enabling the impact/removal process to continue efficiently.
