Intensive Swimming

Students are being instructed on water safety, how to develop their existing swimming skills, the different swimming strokes and a variety of water survival skills. All students who are participating should be congratulated on their effort and commitment. Their exemplary behaviour and positive attitude is a credit to each of them and they have shown a substantial improvement in their water skills during the first week.

A reminder that the last day of Intensive Swimming is Friday 6th December. On the last day, students will be allowed to purchase something from the pool shop/canteen. If you would like your child to buy from the shop we suggest a limit of $5.00.

Kindergarten 2019 Transition

The next Kindergarten 2019 transition day is tomorrow, Friday 29th November from 9:30am – 11:30am. Children will be participating in literacy activities and parents are invited to attend the Parent Information Session in the library and stay for morning tea.

Please ensure we have all the required documentation for your child to commence school next year.

2020 WHS Excel Class

Red Cross Visit

Students in the choir and guitar group will be visiting the Red Cross tomorrow to perform for their end of year event.

Please ensure students wear correct school uniform. Students will be walking to the venue.

Year 6 Orientation Day

Next Tuesday, 3rd December all Year 6 students currently attending Woolgoolga, Corindi, Mullaway and Sandy Beach Public Schools will be attending Woolgoolga High School for their Orientation Day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to see and participate in life at high school.

K-2 Assemblies during Intensive Swimming

For week 8, our K-2 assembly will be held at 2:30pm to 3.10pm to cater for Year 2’s participation in intensive swimming.

Mufti Day

A mufti day will be held on Thursday 5th December to raise money for the Woolgoolga Rural Fire Services.

Students are encouraged to come dressed in red, yellow or orange and donate a gold coin.
