FREE PARKINGIs available both onsite at ShoWare Center as well as in lots in close walking dis-

tance throughout downtown Kent. Special onsite parking is designated for drivers of

hybrid vehicles, and guests traveling in carpools of four passengers or more. Ad-

ditional free parking is available across James Street at the Regional Justice Center

Garage after 6:00 PM, and at the James Street Park & Ride. There is no event park-

ing permitted at Kent Station, at Kent Commons or in the North Park Neighborhood.

#23ANDREW CROFTPOSITION: GOALKEEPERHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 190HOMETOWN: KENMORE, WAAndrew Croft was one of the very fi rst players to be signed to the Impact’s inaugural season team. Born and raised up the road in Kenmore and a former Inglemoor High School attendee, Croft has had a deep passion for the sport of soccer all his life. Along with being a proud alumnus of Tacoma’s Pacifi c Lutheran University, where he received his Bachelor’s in Communication and was a goalkeeper for the school’s soccer team, Croft brings a variety of playing and coaching experiences to the table.Most recently, Croft played for the Premier Arena Soccer League’s Tacoma Galaxy, where he helped the Galaxy win the 2014 Northwest Division Title in the team’s inaugural season. Croft has also been coaching Bellevue College’s Men’s soccer team since early 2013.Croft, who has just recently moved back to his hometown of Kenmore with his wife, is looking forward to this opportunity to play with the Seattle Impact FC.

ARTURO ALANISPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 5’11WEIGHT: 180HOMETOWN: CHICAGO, ILArturo Alanis is one of the Impact’s inaugural season defenders. A Chicago native, Arturo attended St. Joseph High School, where he was a member of the varsity team all four years and was named to First Team All-Conference. After high school, Arturo attended Northeastern Illinois University and Triton College. While at Triton, Arturo was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Regional.Arturo spent the last four years playing indoor soccer for MISL’s AND PASL’s Chicago teams. When he doesn’t have his cleats laced up, Arturo likes to hit the gym and play other sports such as basketball and tennis.

#8TAYLOR JACKSONPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 5’11WEIGHT: 175HOMETOWN: RALEIGH, NCTaylor Jackson was born in North Carolina but his family moved to Auburn, WA when he was eight years old. Taylor attended and graduated from Auburn High School, where he was an All-State Honorable Mention and also All-State First Team in soccer. After high school, Taylor attended Gonzaga University for his fi rst two years of college and then completed his degree in Applied Physics at Pacifi c Lutheran University. Taylor has played indoor soccer for the South Sound Shock for the last two years and eagerly awaits this opportunity. When he isn’t on the fi eld.Taylor likes to go mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and golfi ng.

#15BRAYTON KNAPPPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 5’11WEIGHT: 175HOMETOWN: SULTAN, WABrayton Knapp is one of the Impact’s defenders for their inaugural season. Brayton grew up in Sultan and attended Sultan High School, where he received First Team All-State honors twice, was a two-time North Cascades Conference Offensive MVP, and fi nished his high school career with 104 goals and 50 assists. After high school, Brayton went on to the University of Portland, where he helped the team reach the 2008 NCAA playoffs and fi nished his career ranking in the top fi ve for games played and top ten for minutes played. Brayton has spent the last few years playing for the Tacoma Stars and Rochester Lancers. He helped the Stars reach the playoffs in their inaugural season and was Defender of the Month in January of 2012. In his spare time, Brayton enjoys golfi ng, paddle boarding, hiking, and attending sporting events with his wife.

#14COREY MARETPOSITION: MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 5’11WEIGHT: 170HOMETOWN: FORT LAUDERDALE, FLCorey Maret, born and raised in Florida, is one the Impact’s midfi elders this season. Corey attended Forest High School, where he set a county and school record with 102 goals scored and 60 assists. He also won Player of the Year and was named to All-State twice. After high school, Corey played Division I soccer at University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he was a Top 100 Recruited Incoming Freshmen of 2006. He had multiple game winning goals at UNC Greensboro, with the biggest coming against Loyola Maryland in the NCAA Tournament that propelled his team into the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive year. After college, Corey spent some time playing in Europe before coming back home to the States. He received the Golden Boot award as a member of the Louisville Lightning and Pennsylvania Roar. When he doesn’t have his cleats laced up, Corey stays occupied with website designing his own freelance LLC company, listening to music, and watching movies.

#8ELI GORDLEYPOSITION: MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 6’3” WEIGHT: 200 HOMETOWN: SEATTLE, WAAfter developing as a youth player in Washington, Eli was invited to trial with Charlton Athletic of the English Premier League before signing for Royal Racing FC Montegnée in Belgium where he played for 4 years. More recently, Eli played with the Sounders U23 team in the PDL last season. In his spare time, Eli enjoys sharing his passion for soccer by coaching. Eli’s coaching experience is just as impressive with 3 years spent working at Coerver Coaching NW. Coerver is a global soccer coaching program providing advanced training in a professional atmosphere. Most recently, Eli joined the Nowland Premier Soccer Academy as their technical training working with all the young players with their development.

#9DEREK JOHNSONPOSITION: MIDFIELDER FORWARDHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 175HOMETOWN: TACOMA, WA Derek Johnson, born and raised down the road in Tacoma, attended Franklin Pierce High School and then went on to Pacifi c Lutheran University. While at PLU, Derek helped the Lutes’ soccer team win the 2011 Northwest Conference Championship and led the Lutes in goal-scoring in 2012 and 2013 as well as being named to First Team All-Northwest Conference both seasons. When he wasn’t in a PLU uniform, Derek played for South Sound FC’s indoor and outdoor teams in 2012 and 2013, where he was also a leading scorer and played a major role in the team winning the PASL Northwest Division Championship in 2012. When Derek isn’t playing soccer, there’s a good chance he is coaching it at Auburn High School or playing FIFA with his younger brother!

#11DION EARLPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 5’9WEIGHT: 195HOMETOWN: BELLEVUE, WADion Earl, who is owner of the Seattle Impact FC, will also be playing for the team this year! Dion was born in Portland but moved to Bellevue at a young age. He attended Newport High School, where he was a standout soccer player and earned a soccer scholarship to Seattle Pacifi c University in the process. At SPU, Dion fi nished in the top 30 on the school’s all-time scoring list and he also earned an All-American recognition. Following college, Dion played for both the Seattle Sounders and the Seattle SeaDogs, and the Kansas City Attack proving his capability to play both indoor and outdoor soccer effi ciently. When he gets spare time, Dion loves spending time with his wife Laurel and their three children. The Earls enjoy all sorts of outdoor recreational activities such as soccer, tennis, swimming, and boating just to name a few!

#5FRANCISCO CISNEROSPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 5’11WEIGHT: 180HOMETOWN: PALO ALTO, CAFrancisco Cisneros was one of the very fi rst players to be signed to the Impact’s 2014 squad. Nicknamed ‘Cisco, Francisco was raised down in Corvallis where he attended Crescent Valley High School and Oregon State University. While at Crescent Valley, Francisco helped the soccer team win Conference Championships in his junior and senior years. He then played collegiately at Chemeketa Community College, scoring seven goals and four assists as a left-back. Outside of soccer, Cisco loves to play sports like basketball, football, softball, and golf. He generally loves to be outside, regardless of the weather. Cisco also loves snowboarding in the winter, but most importantly, he cherishes spending time with his family and friends.

#13GUSTAVO BERMUDEZPOSITION: FORWARDHEIGHT: 5’9WEIGHT: 157HOMETOWN: CULVER CITY, CAGustavo Bermudez was born and raised down the coast in Culver City, California. He attended John Glenn High School where he scored 66 goals in three seasons. After high school, Gustavo attended Vanguard University where he redshirted his freshman year before going on to Chemeketa Community College for two years. During his two seasons at Chemeketa, Gustavo scored 55 goals and was a two time NWAACC South Region MVP and All-Star selection. He was also a NSCAA National All West Region First Team selection. When Gustavo isn’t on the fi eld, he likes to watch television and movies, as well as hiking with his friends and looking for new trails. But one of his favorite things to do is go for a run while listening to music!

#14JAMAEL COXPOSITION: MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 5’9WEIGHT: 145HOMETOWN: TACOMA, WAJamael Cox grew up down the road in Tacoma and attended Stadium High School. While at Stadium High, Jamael helped school’s soccer team win the Washington State Championship. From 2008 to 2011, Jamael was a member of the Washington Premier Academy’s U-16 and U-18 squads as well as the Seattle Sounders Academy. Over these three years, Jamael helped his team place fi rst in the Northwest Division all three years, make the USSF playoffs all three years, and was also selected for the Academy All Star Game twice. After leaving Highline Community College, Jamael played for the NASL’s Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2013 and also played for some time in Bundesliga I and II in Europe. When he has some spare time, Jamael loves hanging out with his family and friends, going to the beach, going hiking, and also watching sporting events.

KYAMRAN TAIROVPOSITION: FORWARD MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 5’10WEIGHT: 180HOMETOWN: KRYMSK, RUSSIAKyamran Tairov is from Krymsk, Russia but his family eventually moved to the United States. Kyamran attended Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Illinois. Kyamran has been playing soccer since he was eight years old, and he loved every bit of it. In 2011, Kyamran signed his very fi rst professional contract with the PASL’s Louisville Lightning. After playing there for one season, Kyamran then went to the Texas Strikers where he was captain for the 2012-2013 season. When he isn’t on the fi eld, Kyamran enjoys watching soccer, comedy shows, movies, writing poetry, painting, and Skyping with his family and friends.

#6JEFF BADERPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 195HOMETOWN: TACOMA, WAJeff Bader, born and raised down the road in Tacoma, has been playing soccer for 27 years. Jeff attended Stadium High School and then went on to Evergreen State College where he was a NAIA student-athlete.In addition to having wicked shot named “The Bader Blast,” Jeff helped the Tacoma Stars Semi-Pro team win national championships in 2004 and 2010. Before being signed to the Impact this summer, Jeff played for the Ontario Fury, one of the Impact’s division opponents for this season. In the one season Jeff was there, he received the Iron Man Award along with being named to the 2014 Professional Indoor Soccer All-League Pacifi c Division.In his spare time, Jeff enjoys watching movies, eating at his favorite restaurants, and spending quality time with his friends and family.

#2KELLEN BROWNPOSITION: MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 5’8WEIGHT: 150HOMETOWN: TACOMA, WAKellan Brown, who has been playing soccer for 15 years, will be one of the Impact’s midfi elders this year. Born and raised down in Tacoma, Kellan attended Bellarmine Preparatory School before attending Western Washington University for four years. While at Western, Kellan was named GNAC Conference First Team in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Also, Kellan was named All-West Region First Team in both his sophomore and senior seasons. In 2013, Kellan won the Pacifi c Coast Soccer League Golden Boot. When he has some spare time, Kellan enjoys watching EPL and Champions League, as well as golfi ng, cooking, exercising, and hanging out with his friends.

#4MARK LEEPOSITION: MIDFIELDER/ FORWARDHEIGHT: 5’8WEIGHT: 165HOMETOWN: PUYALLUP, WAMark Lee, born and raised in Puyallup, attended and graduated from Puyallup High School in 2006. After high school, Mark went on to North Idaho College for one year before coming back home and attending Pierce College. Mark played for the Tacoma Stars and the Kitsap Pumas before being signed to the Impact. Mark played a role in the Stars’ 2010 National Championship and was also PASL Pro Player of the Week once in 2012. Mark also helped the Kitsap Pumas win a national championship in 2011 as well as making PDL All-Conference three seasons in a row along with being named to PDL All-National in 2011. When Mark has some time to himself, he loves hunting, fi shing, hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors in general.

#7MICAH WENZELPOSITION: MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 170HOMETOWN: FEDERAL WAY, WAMicah Wenzel, a Federal Way native, will be one of the Impact’s midfi elders this year. Micah attended Bellarmine Preparatory School and then went on to Puget Sound University, where he was a member of the school’s 2006 collegiate team. From that point to the present, Micah has been on a multitude of indoor and outdoor teams. For three years, Micah played for the PASL Premier Tacoma Stars and helped the team won the 2010 National Championship. After that, Micah spent two years playing for the Stars’ PASL Pro team where he got into double digits in goalseach season. In 2013, Micah played for the PASLPremier’s Tacoma Galaxy, where he was also captain. Micah also has some experience playing for the Seattle Sounders U-23 squad. When Micah has some time off the fi eld, he enjoys hanging out with his fi ancée Whitney. They like to cook, take their dog Leo on walks, run, and hikes, and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.

#23EVAN DENMARKPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 75HOMETOWN: RENTON, WAEvan Denmark, a soccer product of Renton, is one of the defenders for the Impact’s 2014-2015 team. A former Tahoma High School and Concordia University attendee, Evan has had numerous accomplishments in the sport of soccer. In high school, Evan was named First Team SPSL South three times and First Team All-State his senior year. At Concordia University, Evan helped the soccer team win the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship three times in four seasons.He also helped the team go as far as the Sweet Sixteen in the NAIA National Tournament back in 2008! After college, Evan spent some time with the Sounders’ U23 Reserves and played for both the Tacoma Stars and Tacoma Galaxy. Even when Evan isn’t on the soccer fi eld, he loves to stay active by hiking, wakeboarding, and playing other sports such as basketball and softball.

#3GORDY GURSONPOSITION: FORWARD MIDFIELDERHEIGHT: 5’6WEIGHT: 150HOMETOWN: CHICAGO, ILGordy Gurson was one of the very fi rst players to be signed to the Impact this past summer. Born and raised in Chicago, Gordy attended Stevenson High School, where he is the all-time leading goal scorer and was named All-State in 2009. After high school, Gordy went on to Robert Morris University, where he scored 44 goals in just three seasons, was a three time All-American, and three time All-Region First Team. Before being signed to the Impact, Gordy spent one season playing for Chicago in the National Soccer League, where he received the Golden Boot Award with 40 goals in 17 games. In his spare time, Gordy enjoys watching soccer, especially his favorite team, Manchester United!

IMPACT FC BIOS#14JASON DUNNPOSITION: CO-HEAD COACH OF SEATTLE IMPACT FCJason Dunn was born in Portland, OR and now resides in Arizona where he lives with his wife and three children. Dunn grew up in Olympia, WA where he attended North Thurston High School. During his four seasons at North Thurston, Dunn was a two-time All-state soccer player. As a senior, the team won the 1990 WIAA High School State Championship. Dunn was selected as an All American his senior season. In his collegiate career, Dunn played Division 1 Soccer at University of Washington his freshman year. He then transferred to Seattle Pacifi c University captaining in his Senior year and winning a National Championship, and was a two year All-American his Junior and Senior year. On March 30, 1994, Dunn became the fi rst player to sign with the expansion Seattle Sounders of the American Professional Soccer League (APSL). In 1996, Dunn signed with the Wichita Wings of the indoor National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). He was selected the 1996-1997 NPSL Rookie of the Year. Over fi ve seasons, he scored 265 goals in 178 games, his best season coming in 1999-2000 when he scored ninety-fi ve goals in forty-four games. That season, he was a fi rst team NPSL All Star.Played with the National “B” team 1991-94, National “A” Team 1994 and 1996. Played Professionally with the Seattle Sounders, 1994-96, 2001. Played for Wichita Wings, NPSL (Professional Indoor) 1996-2001, Seattle Seadogs, CISL (Pro Indoor) 1997, Harrisburg Heat, NPSL, 2001-02. Won three professional championships, two with Seattle Sounders, 1995 and 1996, and Seattle Seadogs, 1997Jason currently spends time coaching youth club teams and Varsity Girls High School for Perry HS in Gilbert, AZ.

#3TODD HALEYPOSITION: CO-HEAD COACH OF SEATTLE IMPACT FCTodd Haley will be joining Coach Dunn’s staff and coaching the Impact this year. Currently residing in Arizona but raised in Normandy Park, Todd attended Seattle Pacifi c University under Cliff McCrath as was a four-year starter and helped lead SPU reach three NCAA tournaments and claim two conference championships. He was the 1991 Captain, named fi rst team all-conference and also team MVP that season. Off the fi eld he was a Presidential Leadership Scholar and as a senior named a career SPU Scholar Athlete. He was later drafted by the Milwaukee Wave of the NPSL and also played for the Everett Bigfoot of the USISL. In terms of coaching, Todd was a member of the coaching staff of Mt. Rainier’s 1989 state championship team, was an assistant at Lakeside High School, head coach at Mt Rainier High School, and spent 3 seasons as an assistant to Peter Fewing at Seattle University. Outside of coaching Todd is a global Senior IT Director of Cloud and Enterprise Computing for Honeywell International. In his spare time he enjoys fi shing, golfi ng and spending time with his wife and two children.

#19STEVE MOHNPOSITION: DEFENDERHEIGHT: 6’0WEIGHT: 190HOMETOWN: KENT, WABorn in Kent, Steve attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way. While he was at TJ, Steve was voted First Team All-SPSL and also helped his team reach the state quarterfi nals in 2003. After he graduated from high school, Steve went on to Highline Community College, where he helped lead the team to the NWAC title in 2004 and was the 2005 NWAC MVP with 17 goals and 10 assists. Steve then transferred to the University of Washington, where helped the Huskies reach back-to-back NCAA tournaments. After college, Steve played for the Kitsap Pumas and Tacoma Stars for a number of years, helping both teams win National Championships. When Steve isn’t playing soccer, he is most likely coaching his U-14 boys team, his Mt. Rainier boys soccer team, or the men’s soccer program at Highline College. But when he has some free time from soccer, Steve loves to spend time with his wife Jessie, his family, and friends.

#1PIOTR SLIWAPOSITION: GOALKEEPERHEIGHT: 6’1WEIGHT: 185HOMETOWN: CHICAGO, ILPiotr Sliwa from Chicago Illinois, went to Taft High school where he was a four year starter on varsity. Made the All-State team senior year. After high school played at Dominican University in Oak Park/River Forest where he was a four year starter ending his career with a mark of 73-11-5. Currently ranked 11th all-time in NCAA Division III with a 0.51 goals against average in over 6,400 minutes played. During his time at the Dominican, he won conference 4 years in a row, 4 national tournament appearances, has an Elite 8 appearance and recorded 30 shootouts in his 4 years there. Received All-Conference and All-Region honors and was a team captain senior year. Won multiple national championships with AAC Eagles Chicago, which is one of the oldest clubs in North America. Received a 2013 Athlete Of The Year Award from the Polish American Congress. He was the Captain of the Illinois state select team and played with Rockford Rampage in the MISL.In his spare time, he likes to watch soccer and play poker.

DION EARL OWNER/CEO/PRESIDENT

Dion Lee Earl is the Founder and & CEO of the Seattle Impact FC, a Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) franchise awarded to the state of Wash-ington in June 2014.

Earl was born in Portland, OR, but moved to Bellevue, WA at an early age. He grew up there attending Newport High School where he was a standout soccer player, earning himself a soccer scholarship to Seattle Pacifi c University. At SPU, he earned All-American recognition and fi nished 26th in the all-time scoring list at the uni-versity. Earl received his Bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacifi c University and majored in Exercise Science with a Minor in Health, PE, and Biology.After graduation, Earl successfully competed in several

professional soccer leagues through 1999. In 1997, Earl earned the very rare distinction of being traded from the Seattle SeaDogs to the Seattle Sounders, in a move that brought Earl from indoor soccer to the outdoor game. Earl also undertook the massive responsibility of coaching youth soccer camps, as well as continuing to pursue his professional soccer dreams. In 1997, driven by his desire to inspire youth, he established the Dion Earl Total Soccer Camps and successfully ran the business until he pivoted and changed directions.In 1999, Earl started a long and successful career in the automotive business. He became a Sales Advisor for Porsche, Audi and Jaguar. He graduated to the fi nance side of the business where he was often recog-nized for his outstanding relationship management skills and had several high profi le clients.In addition to his career in professional soccer, Earl is an avid tennis player where he is a world ranked player in the Seniors ITF circuit. Achieving a ranking as high as 452 in the world amongst tennis players. He is competitive in nature, both on and off the fi eld.Dion Earl, his wife Laurel, and their three children split their time between their homes in Kent, WA and Phoenix, AZ. An active, athletic family, the Earls enjoy soccer, tennis, swimming, boating, and other out-door recreational activities.
