• This subcontract includes excavation & backfill for foundations.

• The underslab gravel is included with this bid package.

• Please note that the attachment hardware for connection of the precast shear walls are part of this contract.

• Multiple mobilizations are required for the concrete work at the airside (Sterile Corridor & Passenger Walkway).

• Airside phasing: We are only allowed to take 2 gates (per concourse) at a time.

• Demolition and Clear and Grub is to include all Site Demo including but not limited to AC pavement, site concrete, AOA pavement, all shown utilities to be removed, removal of abandon duckbanks, bollards etc. Demolition is to include the removal of the canopy attached to concourse A at the GT Lot.

• Installation of all Wet Utilities: Water, Storm Drain, IWS, Sewer

• Design build all shoring and underpinning for the IAF and Raised Pedestrian Walkway. All shoring needs to be designed/stamped by a registered engineer in the state of Washington.

• Includes fine grading and installation of base.

• Coordinate with the fueling system and utility contractor for all adjustments.

• Include all flushing of fueling system. Provide all trucking and tanks for the flushing. Include all fuel and fuel disposal and restocking.

• Coordinate with AOA concrete pavement contractor to insure hydrants are adjusted to grade.

• Interior pan filled stairs are located at the interior of the building.

• Exterior "air side" stairs are a metal plate tread with a galvanized finish.

• Egress mezzanine stairs are required.

• The subcontract includes fabrication and erection.

• Architectural stairs in IAF, SC & PW are not part of this contract.

Document included in the PDD and on CBP Airport Technical Design Standard requirements.

• The Special Systems Matrix was developed to assist the bidders in understanding procurement, configuration, installation, and testing responsibilities as the stakeholder IT groups will play an active role in activating new equipment.

• The Systems Manager will be a key player in coordinating and managing all division 27 and 28 Special Systems Work.

• In most instances, we are extending the existing stakeholder systems.

• There is UG communications ductbank and OSP cabling work included in the scope that will be the immediate focus.
