E Mail To use email, you need both

an email address and a program to handle it

Advantages of using emails: Emails can be sent over the

Internet to anybody who has an email address

An email arrives almost instantaneously and at low cost anywhere in the world

The recipient picks it up when they are ready

Before using email, you should be familiar with netiquette ”network etiquette”

Netiquette “a set of rules governing how you should use email

1. Messages should be short, to the point and sent only to those who need them

2. When you reply always be sure that the subject is relevant to your reply
