Section 8 - Establishing an Essence of Angels® Healing Practice For those of you who are just starting out and are wishing to establish an Essence of Angels® healing practice, the following is a guide to some of the areas you may need to consider. 8.1 Certification On completion of this course you will receive a Certificate of Metaphysical Healing - Essence of Angels® Practitioner (EAP) and qualify for registration on the ULT Practitioners Directory.

Essence of Angels® is also accredited with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists. Thus as a qualified Essence of Angels® Practitioner (EAP) you can apply to the Institute for full membership, and enjoy benefits such as International Practitioner recognition, professional indemnity insurance and discounted seminars.

For further information about the International Institute for Complementary Therapists: (http://www.iict.com.au/modalities-list.htm) 8.2 Practitioner Directory On graduation, practitioners are offered a free Practitioner Profile page within the Essence of Angels® practitioner directory found at www.universallifetools.com. Within the practitioner directory, graduates will be allocated their own webpage, including photo, detailed writeup about their gifts, talents and services, and contact details. On your advertising material, clinic signage etc.. you may like to advertise your Universal Life Tools webpage within the directory to give support to your work. Alternatively if you have a website already, you may like to add a link to your page. 8.3 Advertising On all advertising material (business cards, letterhead, signage, brochures etc..,), graduates may refer to themselves as holding a Certificate of Metaphysical Healing – Essence of Angels® Practitioner. The letters EAP maybe placed after your name. Your Certificate of Metaphysical Healing - Essence of Angels Practitioner certificate maybe framed and hung within your healing space as reassurance to clients that they are consulting with a registered/qualified practitioner. As an EAP graduate, you may also use the Essence of Angels ® Logo on your advertising material (please refer to the practitioner only section of the website for more details).

8.4 Legal, Taxation, Financial & Statutory Obligations It is important that before establishing a business, advice be sought from your accountant or business advisor on the best way to proceed to ensure all your legal obligations are met. There are numerous different business structures (eg sole trader, partnership, private company etc.), Australian Business Register - ABN numbers, GST obligations, annual reporting requirements etc.. Thus it is recommended that advice be sought from professionals prior to commencing any business arrangement. 8.5 Client Records Legally as a registered practitioner you are required to keep and maintain adequate client records for a period of 7 years. This would include name, address, contact details, outline of consultation sessions and treatment plans. Whilst this is a legal requirement, I also consider this to be a reasonable ‘duty of care’ of any health practitioner. 8.6 Professional Indemnity Insurance This is a personal matter for everyone, but do consider whether this is necessary for you and with INTENT believe in your decision. It is recommended that professional advice be sought. Essence of Angels® is a registered modality with the IICT (International Institute of Complimentary Therapies), thus you can join this association and take advantage of competitive rates on professional indemnity. 8.7 Business Plan In establishing a business, it is advisable to undertake a ‘business plan’. This may include detailing your financial goals, creating a budget or cashflow, but most importantly it puts down on paper your INTENT for establishing your business. Just like we did at the beginning of the workshop stating out INTENT for doing this course, you must state your INTENT to the universe for establishing your business. As you make this statement of fact and sign it, you are confirming to the Universe it is so, thus it is manifest. State in your Business plan your INTENT for establishing your business, and list down your goals for the first year of operation. Words hold a powerful vibration, and then your thoughts create your reality. Maybe start a ‘manifestation board’ in your home or healing centre, as a visual representation of your INTENT.

8.8 Getting yourself ‘out there’ So now that you have set up your business, have your business card and established your business plan, all is not going to become manifest if you hide yourself away and hope for the best. You must take self-responsibility and ‘get out there’ and be available for things to happen. Remember you create your own realities. Consider doing advertising that does not cost money, but promotes your work:

• Community group free talks; • Posters on community boards; • Hosting meditation or networking nights; • Trade fairs etc… • Magazine or Ezine articles etc..

8.9 Workshops On attendance of this Essence of Angels® Course, you have agreed that all material covered in this workbook and through out the course is the intellectual property of Simone M Matthews. You have also agreed that this information will not be used in any form of advertising, education or promotion. This means that everyone has agreed that legally they cannot run / facilitate their own Essence of Angels® workshops on full/partial completion of this course. However, I strongly encourage you to get out there and run Angel Workshops (of your own title). You can teach people how to communicate and invoke angels, the energetics of working with Angels etc.. and refer them to using Essence of Angels® for health and wellbeing. Essentially the philosophy of Essence of Angels® is based on channeled material from ancient civilizations and indigenous peoples that have walked the Earth, as well as from the higher dimensional portals of the Pleiades, Sirius and Galactic Centre. It is the aim of this workbook and spiritual modality to remain true to these ancient and indigenous wisdoms and express these most cherished gifts from the Divine in their complete and most accurate form. As a result, we highly recommend that all students confer with their local Universal Life Tools registered Essence of Angels® Teacher as to the local laws, best practices, and duty of care that is expected of the students/practitioners in their ‘Country of Origin’. It is the students/practitioners responsibility to keep up-to-date with changes in local practices/laws and to ensure these standards are met at all times.
