Acorns are the seedsof oak trees.
These are the seeds of acypress tree.
A pine cone holdsthe seeds for a pinetree.
Seed Dispersal•Disperse means to spread out. •Seeds must be dispersed!!!!•Seeds grow best if they are AWAY from their parent plant.
•Parent plants block sunlight and soak up water and nutrients that the seedling needs.
•Seeds disperse from the parents by wind, water, or animals.

When these seeds fall off, theycan begin to grow.

This coconut will eventually grow intoa new palm tree. Does this explain why palm trees are only found in coastal areas?
