INTRODUCTION: Einstein’s analysis of Brownian motion PROVED that atoms exist even though they are a million times too small to see. Scientists often rely on indirect measurements to “see the unseen”. These methods are usually highly reliable, and often better than “seeing with our own eyes”. Not seeing doesn’t mean not believing!

Sketch the laser tracks on a sheet of paper clipped to the top of the Mystery Shape
