The MP was especially interested in the children’s displays in Amethyst; on Equality, Women’s Rights, Emily Pankhurst and questions that made you think! The team also enjoyed tea and biscuits with the MP as well as ask her questions such as ‘How has being an MP changed your life?’, if you were to change your job what would you do? Seema Malhotra said she enjoyed her visit and was impressed with the work, the thinking and how committed the team were in making positive changes for all’. Miss Pal and her helpers were very busy this week making biscuits for today’s tea party. For Friday's Equaliteas, members from each year group have helped Miss Pal to bake lemon shortbread biscuits for our tea party, using a recipe from the House of Commons chef. We taste tested them and they are delicious! After meeting Mrs Malhotra we all enjoyed our very own afternoon tea and biscuits!
