Atul Nishar, President of Namaste America, Indo-American Association f or Art & CultureandKailash Surendranath, Director, Kailash Picture Co. hosted an American f ood and musicf estival last week in Mumbai. This event gave the guests an opportunity to indulge and unwindwith live American music and dance perf ormances. Peter Haas, US Consul General, Mumbai wasthe Chief Guest and Deanna Abdeen, Consular Section Chief , US Consulate, Mumbai was theGuest of Honour f or the event.

Gautam Rode, a Television actor and popular host was present at the event as special guest.

The af ternoon was attended by dignitaries across the city f rom Industrialists, Corporate CEO’s,US Consulate Staf f to numerous other personalit ies. There was a special perf ormance by RahulSaxena’s dance team. Guests enjoyed the American treats and danced to the beats of SharmilaDias (who enlivened the af ternoon with a wonderf ul vocal perf ormance with her band.)
