Selection Report

Head-organisers Preliminary Rounds and

National Selection Conference 2014-2015

Dear EYP alumni,

The selection of head-organisers for the Preliminary Rounds and National Selection

Conference 2014-2015 has been completed.

The selection panel consisted of the Board of EYP the Netherlands; Fahad, Jana, Bernet, Dirk,

Myrna and Khalid. They convened on the 14th

of April.

The panel received 18 applications for alumni willing to head-organise, which we see as a

great success and good sign for the future of the organisation. We had 8 places available for

the Preliminary Rounds and 2 places for the National Selection Conference.

We hope that those applicants who we were unable to find a place for on the team are not too

disappointed and will try again in the future. Those who were not successful should not see

this as in any way reflecting on their qualities as an EYPer. We try to support our alumni as

best we can and we are determined to find a place for them within our organisation one way

or another.

The panel was happy to see the high quality of applications, which included concrete plans,

improvements to the current format and ensured locations that could host the sessions. We

welcome this development as it shows that our alumni have a good and proper understanding

of the organisation.
