VIETNAMFrom the fertile plains of the Mekong Delta to the mountainous North linked by spectacular beaches along the coast, Vietnam is the ideal holiday destination. It contains a combination of diverse cultures, hill tribes, imperial dynasties and relics of French colonial days.

Hanoi History overflows in this capital city where you can find the Mausoleum of revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh and his former home, the House of Stilts. Experience the contrast between the tranquil lakes and parks, and the chaotic Old Quarter of narrow lanes, street markets and shophouses.

Halong Bay Halong Bay is full of idyllic scenery, containing 3,000 jungle-topped limestone islets full of hidden caves and grottos. An overnight boat trip on Halong Bay is a mystical experience.

SaPaIn the cool highlands, Sapa is home to the H’mong and Dzao hilltribe villages, lush cascading rice fields and mountain dwellings.

HueHue has sites of Vietnam’s last imperial dynasty: the Citadel of the Forbidden Purple City, Thien Mu Pagoda and Than Toan Covered Bridge.

Hoi anA 17th Century trading port with a World Heritage Old Town, traditional family homes and chapels, assembly halls and a Japanese Covered Bridge.

Ho CHi MinH City (Saigon)Vietnam’s largest city is a shopping mecca, with numerous pagodas, French colonial buildings,

and street markets. Landmarks include the Reunification Palace and the tragic but must-see War Remnants Museum. Nearby are the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.

nHa trangNha Trang is a beach hub with emerald waters, pristine beaches, and spots to go snorkelling and scuba diving in the South China Sea.

DalatA jewel of the Central Highlands, this cool hill station is full of parks, gardens, waterfalls and mountain hill tribes in rural villages.

Mekong DeltaOne of the world’s greatest rivers, where visitors can take a boat trip on one of the many canals and stop at islands for lunch with locals.
