S.A.R.T.U.N. is a semi-autonomous locomotive device that can navigate through a tunnel.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

• Gallons of crude Oil is wasted due to damaged Pipelines

• Many are injured or die during repair/inspection of Underground Tunnels

• Many soldiers lose their lives in underground tunnels in enemy warzone

• Large amount of pollution is caused by dirty exhausts in factories

• The chimney of houses are need to cleared in regular interval for healthy condition.

• Every year many people die in mine exploration

MECHANICAL DESCRIPTION 

Telerobotics• Can be used to map mines and underground tunnels.

Can report back gas and chemical levels to determine the safety.

• Key tool for the Border Patrol and the military, which regularly contends with hazardous tunnels in Iraq and other areas of conflict.

• Testing for oil: Electrical and gas sensors attached to the bot are lowered into the drilled hole to confirm the presence of oil.

• Repairing of oil pipelines responsible for transferring crude oil to refineries.
