Senior Class Trip

Disney World

My Disney Experience App (MDE)

• Park maps, hours, show times

• Wait times for rides

• Dining: reservations, menus, mobile ordering

• Fast Passes (FP): make or change FP selections

• Play Disney App – play interactive games while in line for an attraction, compete with friends

• Free Wi-fi on all of Disney property

• This App is extremely helpful – you may need a back-up battery!

What to Bring:Disney is 1100 acres, dress comfortably!

• Identification – driver’s license, school id

• Sunglasses, hat

• Sunscreen – sticks work great

• Snacks – individually wrapped – no chocolate

• Comfortable sneakers/sandals (2-in case one gets wet)

• Portable phone charger

• Hand sanitizer (still wash hands frequently)

• Rain Ponchos – Walmart carries inexpensive disposable ones in their camping section

• Band Aids

• Refillable water bottle – you can refill at any quick service location (no glass) – if you don’t want to carry this around all day, Disney does offer a free cup of ice water at any quick service location

• No selfie sticks

Disney Transportation

• Monorail – 2 loops – 1 does Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and Ticket & Transportation Center (TTC) the other does TTC and Epcot only

• Buses

• Boats – you can go between Epcot to Hollywood Studios (including Beach Club, Boardwalk and Swan & Dolphin) by boat. You can also take the ferry from the Ticket & Transportation Center to Magic Kingdom

• Disney Skyliner – goes between Pop Century and Hollywood Studios & Epcot

• Leave at least one hour transportation time to make it to a dining reservation

Rides – Fast Passes (FP) You start with 3 FP, they all have to be for the same park. After you use all 3, use your MDE to book more, one at a time, anywhere. Get to the Parks before “rope drop” and hurry to the ride you want to ride the most but didn’t get a FP for.

• Magic Kingdom (MK) – No FP Tier System

Festival of Fantasy Parade @ 3:00 Fireworks @ 9:00 Kiss Goodnight (linger after the park closing to experience)

• 7 Dwarves Mine Train (interactive que line-spin the barrel really fast to see dwarves & Snow White)

• Space Mountain

• Big Thunder Mountain

• Splash Mountain

• Buzz Lightyear

• Haunted Mansion

• Pirates of the Caribbean

• Jungle Cruise

• Monsters Laugh Floor (make sure to text a joke while waiting in line!) – this has a lot of seating so no need to FP

• Peter Pan (interactive que line, shadow room-ring bells, hold finger and a butterfly will land on it. Tinkerbell can turn you into Captain Hook, and shows up in the bedroom)

• Philharmagic – auditorium, no need to FP

• It’s a Small World

• Under the Sea – continuously moving “shells”, no need to FP

• Enchanted Tales with Belle

• Barnstormer

• Dumbo- there are now two so wait times should not be too bad

• Mad Tea Party

• Magic Carpets

• Winnie the Pooh

• Meet Characters: Ariel, Cinderella, Elena, Mickey, Rapunzel, Tinkerbell

• Captain Cooks – located in the Polynesian (take the monorail) Tonga Toast (French toast stuffed with bananas and served with strawberry topping, really sweet) and Asian cuisine

• Contempo Café – located in the Contemporary (take the monorail) Good breakfast – Mickey waffles with Bananas Foster sauce and sandwiches, flat breads, desserts

• Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – Create your own bowls, hamburger pods (you can order the kids meal and it comes with chips and grapes). Night Blossom frozen beverage at the Pongu Pongu stand with boba balls and a blueberry cream cheese mousse that looks out of this world!

• Yak & Yeti Café (quick service-not the restaurant) – near Kali River Rapids – Asian cuisine (they also serve breakfast tacos if you’re there early)

• Harambe Market – near safari – gyros, bowls, chicken fried rice
