Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services & Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for: coordinating development and management of a Capital Programme to facilitate the necessary expansions and improvements to the Company’s SCADA, Generation Control, Substation Control, Distribution Control systems and associated facilities and systems to meet load growth, improve system reliability, enhance system operational flexibilities and reduce system losses; coordinating the implementation of such improvements through the development of business cases, scopes of work, engineering design specifications, tender and bid documents, contracts and detailed engineering design as the bases of the appropriate Construction Work Packages; reviewing and approving upgrades to electrical, instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimum levels of reliability, efficiency and safety are met; planning and participating in the work of a group of employees involved in the engineering, cybersecurity and operation of a power plant. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Professional Engineer Designation; a minimum of 10 years experience designing and maintaining control systems in the electrical utility industry; Project Management Certification is desirable Salary is from CI$5,793 to CI$8,545 per month.
