Welcome to the High School Department of the Saint Estanislao Kostka College, Inc., your high school of choice in Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte!

Kostka College, as we are popularly known at present, started out as Saint Estanislao Kostka High School in 1955. The passing years saw the growth of the institution as it responded to the demands of its stakeholders, finally gaining recognition as a college in 1985…but the High School Department holds distinction of entirely sharing with the school’s 60-year history.

So how’s high school life in Kostka?

We have just opened our new school campus at Kostka Heights in Sitio Polot, Poblacion, Manukan. Patterned after required standards, obviously, our new classrooms are conducive to learning as we are equipped with proper lighting, adequate ventilation and complemented with newly-constructed rest rooms as well.

As the Basic Education Development thrust of the Philippine government kicks into high gear through the implementation of the K to12 Program by the Department of Education, our High School Department also made preparations to purposely meet this challenge.

Aside from new classrooms, two student lounges are also nearing completion for use as waiting and study areas. Our school library is functional not only in terms of books but also allows us access to the information super highway of the world-wide web through its e-library section with internet-connected computer units. Additional study areas are found in learning centers outside the library.

The learning centers convert into convenient lunch sheds during meal time. Of course, the school canteen is just nearby.

Complementing our study facilities are a computer laboratory, a science laboratory and an audio-visual room. We also provide basic support services for all our students. Basic nursing and medical services are dispensed in the school clinic. Guidance services are also provided by competent faculty in our well laid-out guidance center. The school also maintains a student transport service jointly operated with an outsourced provider.

We are a firm believer in holistic human development and provisions for co-curricular activities are well in place. Our talents take the spotlight in the outdoor stage of our Cultural and Sports Center, our venue for literary-musical competitions, school plays and other social activities. The facility comes complete with a basketball court to show off our sports prowess.

The school has lived in the past 60 years by its motto: “Semper fidelis” and we always dedicate all our curricular and co-curricular activities for God’s greater glory.
