COMPUTERS FOR GOLDEN AGERS—Level 1 Do you have a computer and wonder what to do with it? In this class you will feel comfortable using your PC, getting around the operating system and organizing your files. Explore the internet, set up an email account and much more! This fun class is designed specifically for seniors. Meets twice a week Mondays & Wednesdays for four weeks. EUCHRE PLAYERS You’re invited to join our Euchre group. Get together with friends and have a great time! Date: Every Wednesday Time: 1:00 pm Fee: $1.00 per day

GATHER TOGETHER DINNERS Dinner at 6:00 pm followed with the program/dance at 6:45 pm. Held at Orchard View Middle School. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Please bring your own table service. ARTHRITIS STRETCH & BALANCE PROGRAM This class is designed for anyone dealing with any arthritic condition. Stretching exercises will help improve your flexibility, balance and reduce pain and stiffness. Discussion on living and coping with arthritis will be included. Date: Starts Thursday April 17 Time: 10am –11am Fee: $25.00 for 6 weeks Location: OV Community Ed Instructor: Gayle Patterson (certified through the Arthritis Foundation)

SPARTAN UPC LABELS We continue to save UPC symbols from Spartan products and labels from Campbell products. We are also saving pull tabs from pop cans. You may turn them in at any senior program function or at

the Community Education Center.

ATHLETIC

SPORTS PASSES Senior citizens ages 60 and over who live in the

Orchard View District may get free passes to Orchard View sporting events. Call 760-1493 for

MELODEARS You are invited to join our chorus, the Melodears. Laugh and sing and have a great time! Men and women are both welcome. Call 760-1493 for more information. Date: First Monday of the month Time: 4:00 pm Fee: No charge

OIL PAINTING Anyone can paint if they have a desire. Class begins with a lecture/demonstration. Instruction includes understanding color, use of brushes and how to create a beautiful painting. The remainder of class time students work on the painting of their choice. Date: Thursdays starting April 3 Time: 10:30 am—12:30 pm Fee: $48.00 per person for a six week session Instructor: Pauline Stitt. Supply list is available; please call 760-1493

DRAWING CLASS Learning to draw what you see is one of life’s most delightful accomplishments. This class will cover the basic elements of drawing including perspective, composition and much more. We will be using still life arrangements as well as working from models. Bring 11x14 (or larger) spiral drawing pad. WII BOWLING Join us and have a great time bowling without a ball!! No bowling balls or shoes needed! Date: Every Friday Time: 10:00 am—12:00 pm Fee: $1.00/session

WOODCARVING CLUB A piece of wood, a little time, and this class can get you started making beautiful wood sculptures. If you are already working on a project, please bring it to your first class. All levels of ability including beginners welcome! Our more experienced woodcarvers will help you learn basic techniques. Date: Every Thursday Time: 1:00 pm—4:00 pm Fee: $1.00/session

GENTLE YOGA Learn simple posture and stretches, working with balance and breathing. All postures are done on the floor using mats (mats are provided or you can bring your own. You may also use a chair.) Date: Wednesdays—April 16-May 21 Time: 10:00 am—11:00 am Fee: $45.00 per person for a six week session Instructor: Jane Donnelly, Certified Yoga
