An eligibility list may be created for similar casual, part-time, full-time, and term positions DUTIES The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the concurrent management of multiple major, multi-million dollar capital projects within RRC's portfolio of facilities. The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and direction to project teams comprised of internal and external professionals, client representatives, senior officials and supporting agencies through all phases of assigned projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closing. This is highly complex managerial work requiring the Senior Project Manager to maintain an extensive working knowledge of the acceptable procurement policies, procedures, industry standards, finance and administration procedures, and project delivery methodologies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Post-Secondary education in Architecture, Engineering or Technologist ; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Project Management Practitioner (PMP) Certification or formal project management training; or an equivalency Extensive experience managing multiple capital and client funded projects Significant leadership experience with a team-oriented and collaborative approach Ability to lead and work through complex issues and to make difficult decisions Experience developing project schedules and budgets Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads Must be self -motivated and be solutions oriented Proven human resource management experience, including direct supervisory experience Effective presentation and reporting skills Exceptional verbal and written communications skills Establish and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders Exceptional abilities in MS Excel, Word, Adobe and AutoCAD software applications Experience managing the proposal/tender process, including the preparation of construction documentation Values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment to lifelong learning ASSETS Experience with a variety of project delivery models (i.e. CM, DB, etc.) Experience working with post secondary construction projects Direct experience with Public Sector Projects Working knowledge of CCDC & CCA documents Proven experience with amending documents such as Sis, PCNs, COs, etc. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check COMPETITION NUMBER 2020-037 CLOSING DATE March 13, 2020 SALARY $76,125 - $104,154 per annum POSITION LOCATION Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB) POSITION TYPE Full-Time, Regular APPLY BY EMAIL TO [email protected]
