Experiment Setup• Liquid samples are pumped through side-channel and all the holes

• Light is confined and transmitted in the center solid core

• Operating wavelength: 633nm

• Analyse surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) to realise detection of Sialic acid

Experiment results

The Raman signal from SC-PCF (a) is more than 6 times higher than that in HC-PCF (b)
