MEMBERSHIPWe know when it comes to fitness, you have many choices. The YMCA isn’t ONLY about getting in shape. It is a community resource organization, aimed at improving the spirit, mind and body of all who want to participate. You may be able to find a less expensive alternative to lift weights but we’re confident you will not find another place in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area that will feed you — spirit, mind and body – like the YMCA can. We are committed to strengthening the foundations of community.

The YMCA offers a variety of membership choices: Youth, College, Adult, Couple, Active Older Adult, and Household. Our current rates are available online at www.crmetroymca.org. New member rates include a Joiner’s Fee which you will not have to pay again as long as your membership is not terminated and apply to all first-time memberships and to memberships that have expired by more than 30 days. All memberships are sold on an annual basis. Membership fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable to another person or another YMCA outside the Cedar Rapids/Marion area.

The YMCA does not turn anyone away based on inability to pay. If your household income is under $60,000 or individually under $45,000, please ask about our Income-Based Membership Pricing Program. It is our way of giving back to our community. And, it is through this program the YMCA puts its mission into action: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit mind and body for all.
