Before Jesus began His earthly ministry, John the Baptist went before Him preaching the good news that the Messiah was coming to bring salvation. Great as John was, he was careful to humble himself to the point of declaring that he was not even worthy to undo Christ’s sandal strap (Matt 3:11). What a great example to us, to go about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with such fervor and singularity of purpose and to do it so humbly and self sacrificially. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year we want to focus not on what we have done but on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Like John we have been called to ‘prepare the way of the Lord’, not in a physical sense but in a spiritual sense. We do this by giving tools to missionaries and

message of Christ, preparing hearts and minds to accept Jesus as their saviour.

In June we shipped our 1,000,000th radio and we had a great time of celebration, but now requests for more radios and audio Bibles have been pouring in and we cannot keep up with the demand.

We give thanks for SIM missionary Rick Bradford who has recently moved to Nigeria to serve for the next few years. Pray as he distributes audio Bibles in the Fulani and Yoruba languages.

Today we pray for Jay Rick a totally blind student in the Philippines who received a GoYe while he was a student. Through listening to the programs he decided to prepare to be a Pastor!

We have helped with the installation of four of the six planned stations broadcasting in Albania. Pray strength for those working daily to share the Gospel over the airwaves!

Pray today for Hartley Smith who faced some health challenges recently. Hartley serves by running errands to get supplies for the office when needed.

We give thanks for the support of local churches! Pray today for Verona Free Methodist Church in Verona, ON as they gather today to praise the Lord.

Today we celebrate with Galcom supporters in the Ottawa area at the Metropolitian Bible Church. Pray for all those who attend and for those asked to share!

For many years Lloyd & June Birnie volunteered in Galcoms production department. Pray strength for Lloyd; June is with Jesus now but Lloyd continues to serve, recently distributing radios in Haiti.

As of 2008 there are 60,000 Christians living in Mongolia, half of which live in the capital Ulan Bator. Pray for the churches outreach projects so more come to know Christ.

Pray today for Evan Sandercock from Alberta who gave the first few weeks of his summer vacation to work on our automation system! We were blessed to have him join us daily! Pray today for Edna from Tirana, Albania who hasn’t been a Christian very long and is growing in Christ through broadcasts on Radio 7, a Galcom partner!

This morning we are gathering with our partners at Kingston Christian Fellowship for a celebration breakfast and short program. Pray for our supporters in the Kingston area!

Pray for the Churches in Albania as they minister to the many new believers coming to Christ because of Christian radio being broadcast daily!

Christ Jesus The Light Ministry has been serving the First Nations in Northern Ontario. Pray for the Mishkeegogamang, Garden Hill and Weaaganmaa tribes and Chiefs.

Pray today for partners John & Neta Banman who have provided teachings in the Low German & Spanish and have been distributing solar audio Bibles throughout Mexico.

The Peoples Church in Somerville, NB has been a wonderful partner of Galcom for many years. Pray blessings over their congregation today!

Pioneers, LATCOM, Living Truth Ministries and Partners International are only a few partners who have sent radios into Bolivia. Pray they would be able to send more to the Quechua!

Since 1993 there have been over 27,000 radios distributed throughout Albania! Pray for all those who have been listening and growing in Christ for the past 20 years!

Pray today for Pak Andre living in Indonesia who after being healed from sickness and bitterness, set out in search of his birth father to express his forgiveness.

We were so blessed to have Dave Creel work with us for many years. Pray for Dave as this past year has brought many life changes; the passing of his parents and settling into married life with his new wife Vicki.

Harry and Marion Wilson volunteered for many years cutting thousands of insulators used to keep dirt out of each radio. Pray for Harry and his family as Marion has gone to be with the Lord over a year ago.

Pray today for Rolando & Emelda Gonzalez who operate Radio Cielo Digital in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. Since the station upgrade in 2012 we are receiving testimonies daily!

Today we pray blessings over the wonderful people serving at Chapel Ridge Free Methodist Church in Goulbourn, ON!

Frank Drown found & buried the bodies of his friends, the missionaries missing in the Ecuadorian jungle in 1956. Pray for Frank who ministers today to the First Nations people in Northern Ontario.

Pray today for the leadership and workers at ministry Partner FEBC. Far East Broadcasting focuses on reaching the Asian countries with the Gospel message!

Pray for our partners who have been distributing radios in Colombia since 1997. Pray for Colombia Para Christo, Julio Rubial Ministries and Pan America Missionaries!

In June 2013 Burundi Christian Youth Fellowship distributed 400 radios in Bugarama, 150 in Kanyosha & Mutambu, 100 in Muhta and 50 in both Kabezi & Musaga. Pray for all those listening every day!

Today we pray for Every Villiage, formerly called Aid Sudan, who have been ministering in South Sudan since 2003 distributing over 37,000 radios!

This past May, Allan McGuirl shared Galcom at Highway Pentecostal Church in Hagarsville, ON. Pray for all those who heard what the Lord is doing through Christian radio!

Pray for ministry partner Reach Beyond who have distributed radios in Mexico, Panama, South Africa, Equador, DR Congo, Kenya and Lesotho to name a few. May their programs continue to change lives.

Pray strength for Pala (Nima) Tshering a 95 year old Tibetan Christian Patriarch working at translating the Bible into Tibetan. From only a few recordings there has been a change in his people!

For two years the church in Tuv Aimag, Mongolia has been ministering to 500 prisoners and 90 staff in a local jail. Pray for the 20 people who attend the church service every week.

Pray for those gathering at Immanuel United Baptist Church in Lake Loon, NS today for their weekly service! May the Lord inspire each person hearing the message!

Today is the beginning of Missions Fest Seattle! Pray for all those hearing about Galcom for the first time and for all the people who have organized this event.

Pray for wife and mother of 6 Tatjana from Petrovac na Mlavi who was the first Christian in her community. Her family was effected by the floods in the Ukraine this past May.

Pray today for Usman Tilli, Police commissioner of Abia State in Nigeria who shared on Vision Africa Radio tips on ‘How to Fight Crime’. Many heard these tips through their Galcom radios!

Since our partnership with several missionaries working in Colombia began in 1995, we have distributed over 100,000 radios! The Lord has used these to bring peace to some areas!

Pray today for Ady Laning who has been ministering to the Takpala Village in Alor, Indonesia through radio. This tradtional village is very thankful for the radios.

Pray today for V* a migrant worker who moved to South Korea for better job opportunities and ended up giving his heart to the Lord! For security reasons we cannot publish his real name.

Not only has radio technology changed but so has office equipment. Pray today for Doreen Gibbons who still works in production but started at Galcom in the office using ‘Dittos’ to copy the newsletters 25yrs ago!

Each week we have various volunteers help around the Galcom office! Pray for those coming in this week and those who have volunteered in the past!

The Metropolitian Bible Church in Ottawa, ON has been faithfully partnering with Galcom for years. Pray wisdom and direction over their leadership and congregation.

Testimonies continue to come from Greenland requesting a pastoral visit after hearing the hope being broadcast over the air. Pray the Lord would raise up ministry workers to meet this growing need.

We have worked with partner Little Samaritan Mission since 1995 distributing over 21,000 radios to Moldova and Romania. Pray for the hearts of all those families who received a radio!

Today in Seattle hundreds of Pastors will be attending an appreciation lunch. Pray they would partner with Galcom to impact the missions they are doing worldwide!

We give thanks for the partnerships of various churches! Pray today for Kitchener Waterloo Christian Fellowship in Kitchener, ON as they serve today!

Resources for the Blind has been ministering in the Philippines using Galcom radios since 1997. Pray for Arthur Lown and Randy Weisser and those listening to the 7,500 radios there!

We have access to a large language library and many ImpaX are being shipped with a Spanish, Creole or Quechua Bibles. Pray for those countries that have no recorded translations.

Unintentionally the aggressive station installation project of 7 stations in Greenland turned out to be mostly father, son teams. We give thanks for this bonding time that each family had.

Pray for Ministry partner William Levi who leads Operation Nehemiah in South Sudan and has distributed over 6,200 radios since 2005.

Pray for ministry partner TWR who have sent radios to India, Mozambique, Romania, Swaziland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro and North Africa. Pray for all those listening since 1995.

Since 1994 co-founders Harold & JoAnn Kent’s heart has been to reach the Banjara people in the Andra Pradesh region of India. Pray for this project which has begun since the passing of Harold earlier this year.

Pastor John Neilson began radio ministry in Greenland in 2005 and now reaches 90% of the population. Pray strength and wisdom as he serves DAILY!

For over 21 years partners Kathy & Richard MacDonald have been operating Radio Kahuzi in Bukavu, DR Congo. Pray the Lord’s continued protection as they serve faithfully!

Pray for the Galcom staff who work together for the Lord to get every part of the ministry flowing. From the initial contact to making the radio, to the shipping...we give thanks for the team effort.

We hear testimonies of how technology is impacting lives daily! Pray for those whose Galcom radio is their church, their hope and for some, their life line. Pray today for co-founder Allan McGuirl Sr. as he continues to share Galcom with church groups and at conferences. His testimony is now available in book form!

Vision Africa has been broadcasting on radio Love 104.1 FM in Umuahia since 2004. Pray for the listening audience who have been greatly inpacted by the daily broadcasts!

We could not break through the rock in South Caicos to anchor a tower. A change of location revealed where tree roots did the did the work. Praise the Lord for His provision!

Since broadcasting in Greenland began lives started changing! Fishermen, prisioners and families are being delivered. Pray as they grow in Christ and share His love with others.
