4-H Remind
We have a new way to get information out to our members! All parents, leaders, members, etc. can sign up for 4-H reminder text messages. It is safe and private. No phone numbers will be shown to the sender or receiver. It’s super easy and will be a great tool to keep everyone updated!
Are you interested in coaching a rifle or shotgun team? Our first shooting
sports training of the season is coming! Cost is $120 per person and includes
meals. Lodging is also available for an additional cost. Options for candidates
include pistol, shotgun, archery, and rifle. Contact Preston at the Extension Of-

When you pick up your paperwork, please let us know
the food category and age division you will be compet-
ing in (Protein, Fruits & Vegetables, Grains, Dairy).
All paperwork is due back to the
County Extension Office by November 8.

All Anderson County 4-H Clubs have been invited to have a booth at the Hot Pepper Festi-val at NO CHARGE! If your club is interested, contact Preston at the Extension Office! This could be a good fundraiser opportunity, as well as, an excellent way to promote your club! Clubs are also encourage to participate in the Hot Pepper Parade!

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016—Mark your calendar!
5:30-7:00 pm at the Extension Office, we will “begin with the end in mind” and go over steps for a successful, competitive Recordbook in 2017! Open to all 4-H’ers, parents, and club managers!

Anderson County 4-H is implementing a new series of the Vet
Science Program! If you are interested in the program, an in-
troductory meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on September 13th
at the County Extension Office. Taylor Brown, Vet Science pro-
ject coordinator, will be hosting the meeting!

Evaluation and Plant ID, Horse Judging, Livestock
