CONSECRATION - Making sacred; dedicating to the service and worship of God; separated from a common use to a sacred one. Matthew18:18–Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Nehemiah 4:9 - Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them. Isaiah 62:6-7 - I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
While we can come boldly to the Throne of Grace and offer any request at any time, an understanding of the prayer watches allows us to be strategic in targeting certain petitions during the specific timeslots in which we have committed to pray. For additional study of the 8 Prayer Watches, https://unitedinchristcanton.org/ is a helpful resource.

TARGETED PRAYER: Praying the Names of God
As Intercessors, it is important that we remain consistent - on our post every day of the week. This weekend prayer template is provided to offer a reflective tool to recall and rehearse what we have learned about God through our time of study during the week. Father, I give thanks for the revelation of Your character, this week, through my study and meditation upon Your Names. I thank You that, as I engage with family and friends and ascend to worship this weekend, You will continue to manifest those attributes and show that You are, indeed, the great I AM - the God Who is everything that I need, in each and every circumstance which I encounter. AMEN.
