If you have any suggestions or ideas on future programs, please

call and let us know. We are here to better serve our community

and we will continue to do our best in that area. Also, if you feel

like any of our classes or activities would be better if we had

them at varying times, please let me know. I know some people

are hesitant about attending programs at night or maybe during

the day for various reasons. I am flexible in offering programs.

I am sure you have noticed that I have included a calendar of

monthly events. If your club has events that you’d like the coun-

ty to participate in, please call into the office by the last week of

the month to have it included in the newsletter. That would be a

great help and a way for everyone to get together.

I am attending my first National Extension Association for Fami-

ly and Consumer Sciences meeting in Big Sky, Montana! I have

heard that this is a great opportunity to converse with FCS

agents from across the nation and to gather great ideas for pro-

grams, as well as to celebrate the accomplishments of Ken-

tucky Extension on the national level. Because of this meeting, I

will be gone the third week of September. If you need anything,

please just call Gary or Terrence and I am sure they can help you

until I return.

Have a wonderful September and I hope to see you soon!
