Audiences were entertained by our Spellers and enjoyed taking their turn in the spotlight and attempting to win the Bee!! Attendees were wonderfully catered to by the great staff at Whispering Pines Golf and Country Club. The Pinckney Players are excited to bring you dinner theatre and can’t wait to showcase another wonderful cast in the future. Where else can you get up close and personal with an actor?

For their April performances of Calendar Girls, the Pinckney Players proudly donated $5.00 from each ticket sold, along with the proceeds of the lobby raffle to the St. Joseph Mercy Brighton Cancer Center. The money was used to help purchase new companion seating for the chemotherapy infusion bays at the Center. The amount donated was over $6,000.00. Dr. Tara M. Breslin MD, Surgical Oncology Specialist, attended the opening

Night performance and spoke before curtain about the Center itself and thanked the Pinckney Players for collaborating with them. The Pinckney Players would in turn like to thank each and every person who supported their production. Whether you were part of the 20 person cast and crew, donated to the raffle baskets, or attended the performance and/or bought raffle tickets, you helped to

make this show and our partnership with the hospital a success! Director, Lynn Wilde Concannon, and Producer, Ann Langford, met with Development Director Kathryn Rusak to deliver the check. They are proud to be among the first theatres in southeastern Michigan to bring the poignant and uplifting story of the real-life “Calendar Girls“ to the stage. Its questions about cancer, personal struggles, courage, risk, friendship, and self-discovery were certainly thought provoking. This year marks the Pinckney Players 25th anniversary, and they are dedicated to bringing classics, musicals and new shows to Pinckney and the surrounding Livingston County communities.

Another successful adventure with the Bard. Thank you to everyone who

once again braved potential weather and enjoyed a wonderful weekend in

downtown Pinckney's Town Square park. Every year we are thrilled to bring

you this one of a kind experience. Join us again each year as we venture to

the park and bring you Shakespeare.

ADVERTISORS NEEDED!!

Just imagine the opportunity for your ad to appear in our show programs! Where could you spend as little as $125.00 and reach thousands of Livingston County consumers? More than 4,000 theatre-goers attended a Pinckney Player’s show last season alone! With your help, we can continue to be one of the premier Livingston County community theatre organizations. Last season, we featured two main stage shows at the Jane Tasch Performing Arts Theatre, Addams Family and Calendar Girls. Not to mention other favorites in the past like; Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Annie Jr and our dinner theatre show at Whispering Pines last February, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
