Sincerely, Chris Schneider – Sr. Regent

Happy almost end of summertime! Can you believe it? All the hustle & bustle of getting families ready for off to college/school for the New Year. It can be crazy, but all for a positive outlook in life as they grow older and wiser. I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day holiday, I know I did. Our 2017 Moose family picnic was a great success, a huge thank you to our very own picnic organizer, Greg Powell along with others who put all efforts to help volunteer this year. Women of Moose are starting up our annual Friday night bake sales starting on September 8 in the back hall. You might be called to help out and donate a baked good for our events, please don’t hang up or reject our phone call as we do leave a friendly message so you can call back (donations are always welcome). Our September 5th & 19th meetings take place on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday’s at 7PM I hope to see you! September 5th activity meeting will be held by the Higher Degree Chairman, Mary Verbeten come and see what she has planned for us. Lucky Lady drawing winner was Sue DiCello and she was not in attendance, so she did not win at the last activity meeting. Diane Smart won the Lucky Lady drawing at our business meeting. She was in attendance and received a $10 certificate to use at Victoria's Cafe on Friday night. The 2017 Annual Conference will be happening in Fond Du Lac, WI from September 14-17, this is where our members/board of officers are educated and rewarded for all that we do, along with keeping our lodge a great place to be. October 1st will be the Fall Salad Luncheon (open to the public), bring your friends or loved ones, your favorite dish/dessert to share plus enjoy raffles & entertainment all for $8 a person – doors will open at 11AM and luncheon starts at Noon. Watch for flyer's/posters for more details
