Sequencing Office 2010 language pack1. Perform a local install of Office 2010 on Sequencer machine in Q:\<ExistingPackage> folder.

We have existing office package named off2010 so installed office in Q:\off2010

2. Shutdown the Sequencer and take a snapshot say “Office 2010 installed”3. Start the Microsoft Application Virtualization Sequencer

Select Run All from My Computer (2nd Option)

Change Install location to match the package location

Start the installation

Do not run any application, click next

Customize

Change the application name to something meaningful

Do not run application, click next

Click yes on warning message

Go to Q drive enable hidden file and folders view

Delete Q:\MSOCache folder

Continue to modify the package

Change protocol, port and path

Sequencer Files Tab: Delete VFS\CSIDL_WINDOWS\Installer directory

Sequencer Virtual Registry Tab: Delete the following hives:

User\%SFT_SID%\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Sequencer Virtual File System Tab: Ensure that no files are present under:

CSIDL_WINDOWS\Installer and SFT_MNT\MSOCache

Save the package

Deploy

1. Copy the package to App-V content folder2. Open the OSD file of package and copy CODEBASE section

3. Pest copied CODEBASE section the DEPENDENCIES section of the previously deployed office 2010 OSD files.
