How To Setup a serial Console connection using HyperTerminal
You can connect a serial console to the Serial port of any of the Cyberoam appliance models. You can use the Hyperterminal terminal program, which is included with most of the versions of Microsoft Windows, to log on to the Cyberoam console. You will need a null modem cable (black colored cable supplied with the Cyberoam appliance) to connect the console to your Cyberoam. Follow the below given steps to connect Cyberoam using the serial cable:
1. Physically hook up the one end of serial cable (black colored cable supplied with the
Cyberoam appliance) to Serial port on the front panel of your Cyberoam and hook up other end to the PCs serial connection.
2. Launch HyperTerminal (from Start->Programs->Accessories->Communications->HyperTerminal
