November 25th, 2012 1 Thessalonians 5:14 A Call to Encourage

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray

continually, 18 give thanks in all

circumstances; for this is God’s will for

you in Christ Jesus.

11 For you know that we dealt with each

of you as a father deals with his own

children, 12 , comforting

and urging you to live lives worthy of

God, who calls you into his kingdom

and glory.

17 After that, we who are still alive and

are left will be caught up together with

them in the clouds to meet the Lord in

the air. And so we will be with the Lord

forever. 18 Therefore one

another with these words.

in fact you are doing.

sisters, warn those who are idle and

disruptive, the

disheartened, help the weak, be patient

with everyone.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the

same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own

interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another,

have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…

one another on toward love and good

deeds, 25 not giving up meeting

together, as some are in the habit of

doing, but
