How to tell the Gospel• THE CONDITION OF MAN:

– Man thinks he knows better.• Man always thinks that he will be able to change the world and all

his problems.• But history shows that the world is still the same.

– PROVERBS 14:12 THERE IS A WAY WHICH SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, BUT THE END OF IT IS THE WAYS OF DEATH.


– Man thinks he knows better.– The sinfulness of man.

• The reason for this dilemma is the sinfulness of man.– ROMANS 3:23 FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE

GLORY OF GOD,– ROMANS 6:23 FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF

GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.


– Man thinks he knows better.– The sinfulness of man.– The judgment of God.

• We can have all kinds of excuses why we have done it, but God will judge our life’s according to the Ten Commandments.

– 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-10 SURELY YOU KNOW THAT THE WICKED WILL NOT POSSESS GOD'S KINGDOM. DO NOT FOOL YOURSELVES; PEOPLE WHO ARE IMMORAL OR WHO WORSHIP IDOLS OR ARE ADULTERERS OR HOMOSEXUAL PERVERTS 10 OR WHO STEAL OR ARE GREEDY OR ARE DRUNKARDS OR WHO SLANDER OTHERS OR ARE THIEVES---NONE OF THESE WILL POSSESS GOD'S KINGDOM. (GNB)

– He is calling you!• Salvation is for everyone that hears the Word of God.

– REVELATION 22:17 AND THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY, COME!... AND LET THE ONE WHO IS THIRSTY COME. AND HE WILLING, LET HIM TAKE OF THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY.

– MATTHEW 11:28 COME TO ME ALL YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.


– He is calling you!– Only Jesus can give us Salvation.

• The bible is making it clear that Salvation is a work of God in someone’s heart.

• Jesus compares it with a new birth.– JOHN 3:3 TRULY, TRULY, I SAY TO YOU, UNLESS A MAN IS BORN

AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.


– He is calling you!– Only Jesus can give us Salvation.– You receive by accepting Jesus.

• Jesus died for your sin on the cross.– He paid the penalty or punishment for us. – We should be crucified and burn in hell for ever because of our sin.

• If you ask Jesus to forgive all of your sin and receive Him as the only one that died for your sins you will be saved.

– JOHN 1:12 BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, HE GAVE TO THEM AUTHORITY TO BECOME THE CHILDREN OF GOD, TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE ON HIS NAME,

HIM– Are you willing to follow Jesus?

• Jesus told a prostitute, “Go and sin no more”.• Jesus would not ask her if she was not able to sin no more.• When you become a Christian you are still able to sin, but

you not longer need to sin.• Paul told the Romans to reckon themselves dead unto sin

and not to let sin reign in their mortal bodies.


HIM– Are you willing to follow Jesus?– Are you willing to put your trust in Jesus?

• When we confess out sin we must believe that He will forgive all our sins.

– 1 JOHN 1:9 IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS,

– ROMANS 10:8-10 9 BECAUSE IF YOU CONFESS THE LORD JESUS, AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.

– Are you willing to follow Jesus?– Are you willing to put your trust in Jesus?– Are you willing to fellowship with other believers?

• As soon you give your life to Jesus the devil will try to discourage you.

• There is a whole new life before you and a lot of things to learn.• You need the Word of God to grow just like a new born baby

needs milk and care.


HIM– Are you willing to follow Jesus?– Are you willing to put your trust in Jesus?– Are you willing to fellowship with other believers?

– ACT 2:41-42 THEN THEY THAT GLADLY RECEIVED HIS WORD WERE BAPTIZED: AND THE SAME DAY THERE WERE ADDED UNTO THEM ABOUT THREE THOUSAND SOULS. 42 AND THEY CONTINUED STEADFASTLY IN THE APOSTLES' DOCTRINE AND FELLOWSHIP, AND IN BREAKING OF BREAD, AND IN PRAYERS.

– In Gods Kingdom we receive by asking.• If you haven’t asked Jesus into your heart yet, do so right

now by praying:– Dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me. I have sinned against You and

Your Word. Forgive me my rebellion and come into my heart.– I want to follow you and trust Your Word.– I believe that you died for me on the cross and rose from the dead to

set me free. I believe that your blood has cleansed me and has released me from the power of sin.

– I give you my life, and make you my Lord.• You can always close with thanksgiving.
