• PBS being the National Statistical office is responsible for

conducting Population Census , Agriculture Census Surveys

• Data collected is disaggregated by province, region and

gender.

• Main Activities of PBS:

Sustainable Development Goals

• PBS is the main monitoring agency for SDG therefore

questionnaires of different surveys were reviewed and

updated keeping in view SDGSs.

PBS will monitor 58 indicators of SDGs:

✓ “31” indicators through PSLM/HIES survey

✓ “10” from Labour Force survey

✓ “6” from National Accounts

✓ “4” from Agriculture Statistics

✓ “1” from PDS

✓ “2” from Social Statistics

✓ “1” from Price Statistics and

✓ “3”from PBS Indicators (institutional Data)
