Duo 2Factor Initial Setup/Enrollment
Setting up and configuring your secure access
Why are we using this new process?
The Duo 2Factor process used by Norton Healthcare via your mobile device makes it easy to authenticate securely with the Norton network system by just tapping “approve” on the login request sent to your mobile device. Passwords are increasingly getting compromised and this will ensure our network and vital patient and company information stays safe and secure.
Before you start:
Ensure you have the following items available and ready:
Your mobile phone
Norton network user name and password
Device(s) you will be using to remotely access the network (Tablet/PC, etc)
Check compatibility of your devices:
The current version of Duo supports iOS 6.0 and greater or Android 2.3.3 and greater on mobile devices
Remote access for your computer is compatible with Windows version 7, 8, 8.1 (32 and 64 bit) or MAC OSX Maverick (10.9 and Yosemite (10.10)
Download the following applications on your devices if they are not already installed:
On your Mobile Phone – from your app store install the “Duo Mobile” application
If you will be using a tablet – from your app store install the “Citrix Receiver” app
If you will be using a computer – download the “Citrix Receiver” for your device operating system from www.citrix.com\download

Initial Step by Step Instructions
for Setting up Duo 2Factor
Secure Access

On your computer go to MyApps.NortonHealthcare.org Log in with your Norton Network Account (AHSNxxxxx, VENDxxxxx, PHYSxxxx)
If this is your first time accessing the new secure system you will be presented with the Duo 2Factor Setup screen. Click [Start Setup]
Select the device you will setup up with Duo 2Factor and that you will use ongoing to access Norton’s network. Click [Continue] It is highly recommend you consider using your mobile phone so you can access the system anytime you have a need.
Enter in the full phone number of your mobile device including area code and select [Continue] Example 5025551212

Duo 2Factor will ask you to verify that your phone number is correct. Click in the small box [ ] Select [Continue]
Select your mobile phone type Select [Continue]
At this point you will be setting up the DUO app on your mobile phone
On your mobile phone, open Duo Mobile App

On your Mobile Phone - Click [OK] to allow Duo Mobile to send you notifications
The next screen on your phone will be the Duo agreement. Click [Accept] to continue
The next screen will begin the setup of your Norton Duo access
Click the [ + ] plus sign in the upper right corner

Click [OK] to allow Duo Mobile access to your camera if asked. This will enable it to scan a barcode that will be presented on your computer screen to finish the setup
Now that Duo has been installed on your mobile and is ready to scan a barcode on your screen Click on the [ ] box that you have Duo Mobile Installed
Hold your mobile phone up to your computer screen and ensure the barcode is visible to the camera. Click [Continue] See FAQ section if your camera is unable to scan the barcode
Your initial setup and enrollment is complete! Each time you want to remotely access the Norton System your mobile phone will be your secure key!

Going forward when you log into the Norton System you will be presented with this Duo challenge screen and you can simply click on [Log In] and Duo will send a request to your phone for you to respond.
Ensure you always have your mobile phone with you before attempting to log into the Norton system.
How to use Duo 2Factor Ongoing
Each time to log into Norton Healthcare remotely you will have to use Duo to provide the 2Factor authentication to continue your session. There are three ways to provide this 2nd authentication.
Duo Push Your mobile device will be sent a request to “allow” the system to proceed with logging you in to MyApps.
Phone Call Duo will call the phone number you have setup on file and you will need to press any key to allow the system to proceed with logging you in to MyApps.
Passcode Using the Duo app on your mobile phone, Tap the “Green key” next to Norton Healthcare and the app will generate a 6 digit pin that you will then enter into the login screen.

Citrix Receiver already installed?
If you already have the Citrix Receiver App installed on your Tablet and
or configured please review the information below before going
forward

You have Citrix Receiver installed for another system access that is not for Norton Healthcare. You will need to setup a Norton account via the “add account” option in the receiver setup.
Depending on your type of tablet (iOS vs Android) you will follow the configuration set up below for your specific type of tablet.
You have Citrix Receiver installed for Norton Healthcare some time ago (prior to Oct 2015) Your receiver configuration will need to be deleted as the access site has changed
Click the icon to access the current account setup. Look for a “Norton” named account Tap on the [letter I in a circle] symbol to get to the account info screen
Once deleted, please proceed to the instructions below on how to setup your device depending on your specific type of tablet.
Tap on [Delete Account] option

Start the Citrix Receiver application on your tablet and tap on [Add Account] If you already have the Citrix Receiver App installed on your Tablet? Click here for important setup information.
Enter the following information in the Address field:
https://myapps.nortonhealthcare.org
Tap [Next] **If you get “Error – A server with the specific hostname could not be found” please double check your entire address.
Prior to entering in the below information please have your mobile device with Duo installed on it handy as you will need a pin code Enter in the following information in the fields: User Name = (ahsnxxx, physxxxx, vendxxxx) Password = (Your Password to Norton network) Domain = alliant Token = token code from your Duo App See next screen shot for help with generating a Duo token code Once you enter in the generated token tap [Log On] and the “verified” screen will display

To generate a Pin Code Open Duo on your mobile phone and “tap” the key symbol next to Norton Healthcare A 6 digit pin will be generated. This will be entered into the “Token” field on your tablet Important - You will be prompted via Duo on your mobile device to “accept” the request
Tap [Save] on the “verified” screen
Your tablet is now set up to access MyApps Tap on the [ + ] PLUS symbol to reveal a list of applications available Tap on an application to run it.

The next screen will allow you to access your Citrix provided Applications by tapping on the [Apps] option

Please ensure prior to beginning that you have download and installed the “Citrix Receiver” for your device operating system from www.citrix.com\download Prior to entering in the below information please have your mobile device with Duo installed on it handy
Go to myapps.nortonhealthcare.org
User Name = (ahsnxxx, physxxxx, vendxxxx) Password = (Your Password to Norton network)
Click [Log In] on the authentication screen You will now need to access your phone that you have DUO installed on to allow the access
On your Mobile Device Tap the green bar (Request Waiting)

Tap on the [Approve] symbol to allow the connection. You will now be presented with your list of application you can access

FAQ
Can I go back to the older way of accessing the Norton Network?
No - This new process is the only authorized way to externally access our service.
What is happening to the current MyResources on the Norton Web site
This link and feature is being replaced with MyApps.
I would prefer not to install DUO 2Factor on my mobile phone what are my options?
Choose "Phone call" from the authentication prompt (or type "phone" in the "second password" field) and Duo will call your phone. Just answer the call and listen to the instructions to authenticate. Please remember this will restrict your ability to authenticate into the Norton network You can also select SMS passcodes and Duo can text you passcodes via SMS.
If my phone is unable to scan the barcode how can I setup Duo 2Factor?
On the screen you will see a link (Having problems? We'll send you an activation link instead.) Click that link The system will walk you through the process of sending you a link to an email address you can receive on your phone
What can I do if I lose my phone or replace it with a new one?
Please call the Norton Service Center at (502) 629-8911 and they will remove your old phone access out of the system and then you can set up your new phone.
I cannot get the Duo Mobile app to download on my phone
Please contact your phone carrier for assistance or verify your app store user name and password are correct.
What if I forget my Network Account Login or password? Consider using Password Self Service or if needed please call the Norton Service Center at (502) 629-8911 any time if you need assistance
I would prefer to install DUO 2Factor on my tablet instead of my mobile phone alongside Citrix Receiver
The device you install DUO on is your option. However, please remember that you will need to be able to access the DUO application to allow your connection at the same time you are trying to access application.

Please ensure you know how to use your tablets ability to access more than one app while another is running at the same time.
What can I do if I lose my tablet or replace it will a new one?
You can setup the Citrix Receiver on any device you would like to use for access.
What can I do if I lose my laptop / computer or I replace it will a new one?
You can setup the Citrix Receiver on any device you would like to use for access.
I am missing or need an application in MyApps Please call the Norton Service Center at (502) 629-8911 and a ticket will be created for your issue and routed.
I am unable to download any apps from the app store using Norton GuestLink
Open your mobile device web browser and you should see the Norton Healthcare GuestLink usage agreement. Accept that and go back and try to download again.
